No I didn't mean Kiefer, I just thought maybe a JA supporter seen the comment that he had tweeted and did one of there famous emails to the DT office. JMO

Yeppers!!! She takes a white paper out from under her jacket and hands it to mom. How do these court people not catch this crap?? You'd think there'd be a court guard watching the family, as well. Seems like all this stuff is just swept under the rug.
Maybe all these snippets will make their way to someone who gives a carp and wants to take this seriously.
I'm not jumping on the "conspiracy" bandwagon, but if all this paper passing were OK, why not just hand it to them?? I'll assume it's not.

I realize it's got to be the most boring job in the universe just watching someone for hours and hours, but it IS his job, and he needs to be diligent about watching her especially with all the sneakiness they KNOW she's been up to for quite some time.

I swear when I saw him when the camera passed by him he was absolutely defying gravity hanging on the edge of his chair snoozing away! I was dying to have the camera pan passed him again just to see if he'd hit the floor!

I did have an Imitrex pill--it was white, but this was years ago. I use the shot now--I don't even know if the pill is still an option? I *do* know that it's expensive! I remember my Imitrex pills were $100 for 4 (but this is when it first came out--maybe there's a generic).

ITA that she needs to suck it up! When I get a migraine these days, I still have to take care of my 3 babies!!! I never thought I'd be able to even sit up with a migraine, but when you don't have a choice, it's amazing what you can do.

I totally agree. I mean, the pain, nausea and light sensitivity are gruesome enough that I'd give anything to lie down in a cool, dark room....BUT.....

I have worked full days, even one time a 7 hr waitressing shift when my boss made it clear that a "headache" wasn't a valid reason to call out , sat thru meetings with divorce lawyers, taken 12 screaming kids to the movies for DD's birthday.....ALL with a miserable migraine. It sucks, but you do it.

When I got migraines, long ago before Imitrex, I treated them with aspirin (and it had to be aspirin, not Tylenol or ibuprofen). That's how my father treated his, and his mother treated hers. However, taking one was useless. We're talking lots of aspirin round the clock over several days.

My dad used to mix up a BC or Goody's in a small glass of orange juice or Coca Cola and have me drink it. And the doctor who first prescribed me Imitrex told me this was a good way to go if I didn't have my medication readily available, because BC and Goody's have aspirin and caffeine, the best OTC solution for migraines.

But you're right: it took FOREVER to help, sometimes a couple of days. Tylenol or Advil? I might as well have taken nothing. :twocents:

I think that is because aspirin is a blood thinner and migraine pain is caused by a sudden influx of blood to specific areas of the brain after a period of constriction. The rush of blood causes the vessels to expand and places pressure on the nerves, causing numbness, aura and pain.

Before vasoconstrictor meds were available, it makes sense that a blood thinning aspirin would be the best bet!

I went to the ER with a migraine and they gave me a LARGE dose of liquid Benedryl via IV, plus a migraine medicine Fioricet which is (as stated on the bottle) Caffeine.

Yeah--I've had some that have the vision disturbance/aura, numb hands & nausea with no headache. You feel sick, but there's not the headache present. I'm not familiar with medication for this? Does your daughter take something?

Thankfully she has grown out of these, but no, she was not given medication because of her age at the time. S I don't know if medication is prescribed for adults. I suspect like all of you that she just gets bad headaches and not migraines but I threw that out there about silent migraines just because I know they exist.

help me out here please.....since she is claiming self defense I do not understand the fact that (as she says) he did not threaten her life until after she claims she shot him and as she was getting away from him....wouldn't the threat on her life have to come first in a self defense case? like before the gun shot (so she says)? If you shoot someone, then get away then they threaten your life with the "f'n kill you b..." why not just leave?? This all makes no sense to me when claiming self defense.....someone please help me understand this....why does she keep insisting that he said "f'n kill you b....." AFTER she is getting away? am I making any sense??

This for me is it in a nutshell. She talks about shaking and getting all foggy when men/parents raise their voices, etc. She talks about the time he "grabbed" her wrist, then hugged her and said he was sorry. She talks about him back handing her in the car, which is stupid and I don't even believe it. These stories are the basis for her butchering him to death??

There have been cases of "overkill" from self-defense cases, but they are ALL due to EXTREME fear (i.e. unloading all bullets into someone breaking into a home or business, or victim getting trapped and attacked and then they unleash a overkill fury in sheer panic). This doesn't fit anywhere near those circumstances.

Travis never uttered those words. I imagine that he could barely speak, was in shock and went into a frenzied confusion. He just wanted to get away, but he couldn't stop the blows.

And I have never heard of a self defense case where a perp DRAGS A BODY TO ANOTHER LOCATION. That's HUGE for me. That's no self-defense. That's "holy crap I just murdered someone and now I've gotta cover my tracks". People who kill in self-defense don't touch their attackers after they've killed them.

You're not going to figure out these are family members? You're not going to feel anything for them one way or another unless they're wearing ribbons, when suddenly you'll feel overwhelming sympathy? It just seems ridiculous to me.

Maybe the point is that Travis' friends and family could fill one side of the courtroom, and Jodi's got almost nobody.

No no no! LOL sorry! She grabbed her own throat and was kind of massaging it and Anita Richman saw it as she lingered after court was over. She had come up all the way from Tucson for one day to see the trial, got in for both sessions, was asked to be on Dr. Drew and then got to ask Janine Driver (unexpectedly and after we fantasized at HH how cool it would be to run this by her) about what that gesture might mean.

I'm not saying Jodi has this, but there are migraines without pain. My daughter was diagnosed with silent migraines.

ETA: my daughter could still function but her eyesight was impaired.

When I was the director of a crisis line and shelter, my programs coordinator (and essential right-hand) suffered from migraines. Many, many times when we were at conferences I would find myself sitting in the E.R. of some hospital where I took her for an Imitrex shot because she could not even stand up from the pain.

On the other hand my oldest son has migraines that start with light flashes. If he takes an NSAID right away, no headache ensues - if not he will be throwing up within a few hours.

Travis supporters could fill the entire courtroom. As it is they fill all the seats allowed on both sides and some are waiting in the hall to get in. (the vast majority if not all of public gallery are siding with Travis)

I still have my self loading injection thing. I was in the Imitrex study way back when. Then they invented it in pill form...and then came Maxalt in a tiny plastic container (i think the pill was soft) that's the under the tongue. knock on wood have not needed that for years.

I wonder what Jodi is sneaking and sitting on and passing around. No way a birthday card, are they just really lax on courtroom procedures...

If she is "ambidextrous"...she would be able to use the gun in one hand and
