Can someone post a link to Sky Hughes testimony?

Sky testified at the evidentiary hearing, the jury was not present.
She was just asked about that Searcy situation.
She was not asked about the Jan 2007 emails, just in case anyone was thinking she was.

ETA: Limelight Searcy makes an appearance after Sky gets off the stand for all his fans :laughcry:

Very self centered.
"Can you take off the hand cuffs?"
"Can you get my purse?"
"Can you turn up the heat?"
"Can I use the restroom w/o handcuffs?"
"Can I put on makeup?"

Like everyone is supposed to cater to her!

Didn't you get the memo?

She is the Queen of Her Great Universal Drama, and we are all merely players, her loyal subjects.

WOW! Her demeanor is soooooo different with Detective Blaney. I'm kind of shocked at how she just stares at her without saying anything for the first few minutes. (Ok, I know I shouldn't be surprised, but damn!)

BBM I agree with this, especially since she left the check and did not have enough money in the account to cover the check as evidenced by checking account balance on 6/3/08 though check was dated 5/28/08 , she asked more than 1 person (Flores included) about whether the check would be cashed after his death too.[/h toOTE]

One of the checks looks like it's been almost torn off but is still attached to the book.

I can't remember who posted that by the time Jodi got to Travis's that morning she was running out of gas and broke. I've wondered if Travis had cash and she stole it en she left?

Hopefully her royal throne will end up being a gurney.

Wow, this is just too wonderful that David Lohr uploaded the unedited interrogation tapes! We are so lucky to get to see all of this, especially thinking there'd be nothing new to see until Tuesday.

A big and sincere thanks out to David Lohr!

Finally, almost halfway through video 9, JA tells Det. Blaney that Travis' parents have passed away.
The detective is very patient isn't she? She's not making any progress as JA doesn't give a carp about Travis' family.
JA is crying for herself here - not anything like the fake crying in court.
You can see JA's wheels turning, coming up with a story...

I wish people would do this BEFORE they start theorizing.
Such a dreamer I am.

The theories have nothing to do with the trial, IMO. Investigations have their limits, likewise certain things are not admissable in court.

I try to work with what the jurors have available to them.

With the debates here it reminds me that this is what might take place in the jury room when it comes time for deliberation. Even if they come to a unanimous verdict on the first vote, with all the time they have spent on this trial, I figure they might need a bit of time together just to decompress and perhaps show respect for the process.

.....earlier start next week - 9:30am. Hope the Judge sticks to it / enforces it.

Do you think they will end earlier too?

JA checked out as soon as that woman opened her mouth. Never saw her that quiet!!!!!

After watching more of these interviews, I think it's clear she gets a big kick of of playing with these detectives. It's chilling to me-----even more than the TV interviews. She's not the least bit bothered by this whole thing.

A normal person who killed a guy they love, even in self defense, absolutely would not act this way.
Even if she hadn't murdered Travis, if she had feelings she would still be weeping constantly. More so if she hadn't done it and was being accused.
Very self centered.

Umm excuse me "missy" you are not a guest here. You are a prisoner!

MORE LIKE "Queen of Hearts" lol

??? ok am I really gonna sit here on a Friday night and watch a marathon of uninterrupted JA interrogation videos?
You bet I am!

I'm going in! Send someone for me if I'm not back in the morning! :seeya:

My understanding is that she contacted the bishop IN ARIZONA after she had moved to Yreka and after Travis was murdered, for the purpose of finding out what he knew.

She would never have gone to the bishop and confessed while Travis was still alive because her bishop would then have promptly contacted Travis' bishop and Travis would be called in.

The fact that Travis went to his bishop and confessed after JA moved back to Yreka means that he 1)promised not to see her again, and 2) was put on probation (possibly disfellowshipped which means can't receive communion or bless people)...but he wasn't excommunicated because he came forth voluntarily. If he sinned again, he would certainly be excommunicated unless there were mitigating circumstances (such as being tied up and forced).

We see this in his behavior when he did not follow through on his plans to visit JA in Yreka. He was sincere in his repentance.

When you understand that Jodi might not have known Travis had been to his bishop, you begin to see how the motive was accelerated for the murder. She shows up and he rejects her sexual advances. Over the following hours she learns that Mimi Hall has replaced her on the Cancun trip. She already knows he wants to get married but perhaps thinks the secret travels/sexcapades are going to continue regardless-- until she finds out he has been to the bishop without telling her.

In Mormon culture, it is considered a betrayal to go to the bishop and confess without giving your partner the opportunity to do the same thing concurrently, and thereby avoiding a perpetrator/victim view of the fornication. If you each go to your separate bishops at the same time, or both go to one bishop, it goes much easier on you If you say you are setting a wedding date, it will go very easy on you. Chances are you will not even be disfellowshipped.

With Travis putting his membership in jeopardy if he has sex with JA again, that clearly points to JA's motive to fake a sex scene to go with the phone sex in order to blackmail TA into silence. At this point, she knows she will not remain his girlfriend or his dirty little secret because he is not going to give up his membership for her--no way. That would ruin him at PPL as well. And his ability to sell a book would be nil. An excommunicated person sometimes can't even get work in Utah and some parts of Idaho and Arizona.

Her only chance to continue to prey on Mormon men and meet wealthy ones who don't know her low class morals and social status, is to silence Travis. He foolishly has threatened to expose her to all their friends for the things she has done and the stalking, etc. He knows she is a sociopath but somehow does not know they are DANGEROUS. If he follows through with his threat, she is back to living off tips in her grandmother's extra bedroom.

This is why he had to die. He refused to be silenced and she knew one foolproof way to maintain her ability to continue the Mormon/PPL goldmine she discovered and that was to kill him.

I am sure jealousy was a factor but survival as a female bombshell predator feeding on these virginal returned missionaries was paramount, imo.

According to AZCentral.com, the emails allegedly include “A response from Mr. Hughes … wherein he asserts that he believes Jodi would be his (Travis’) next victim and that Jodi was just another girl that he (Travis) was playing.”

There is also a response from Travis where he allegedly replied by writing: “I am a bit of a sociopath.”
found this on radaronline. :banghead:

I hope Juan rips this witness and DT to shreds. Another thing, I'm not saying anything wrong but that nice blonde lady that told about Jodi stalking her in the restroom (got her alone and warned her off Travis) at an event because Travis helped her to her seat when she had too much to drink said the Hughes have a fund set up for the Alexander family on their site. How many sites are collecting, is the family aware, collecting all monies? Anyone know?

I'm watching the unedited interrogation tapes that were posted. On the first tape, 14:00-ish... she asked if his family was aware that they had a sexual relationship because she was "interested in protecting how he is remembered as well."

That's really rich. So much for that, huh Jodi?

Yes...say what you want about Belvin Perry, but he respected the juror's time. He regularly admonished the attorneys, telling them if they delayed the trial, they would be working through the weekend. Everything in the CA trial was about maximizing court time and getting the jurors out of there as quickly as possible. Can anyone answer why this judge is on calendar on other cases while she is sitting on a capital murder case? AZ must be really short on judges.

Yeah the results of CA's case speaks for itself. I'm for a speedier trial, but not CA speedy, with things so speedy that the perp got off completely without taking the time to examine evidence.

Loved how in the 4th video, JA tells Detective Flores that she has prayed to be wealthy. Kudos to those who pegged her wanting TA's lifestyle as part of the motive

the bus stop. Since this jury is not sequestered nor provided with guards and chauffeurs, they are just ordinary citizens making their way in the world. They are sacrificing much already. If the court has concerns they can order safeguards. I am very hesitant about our voicing public criticisms of juror behavior for obvious reasons after what happened this week.

wadr: i was not criticizing any juror behavior. just saying after a long day of jodi bs could not hang around court house not one extra minute.

this was jmo

In video 6 after staring blankly at Det. Blaney for several minutes while she explains how Jodi will be portrayed in the media as a cold blooded killer - Jodi has a question - What will happen to her stuff, then proceeds to cry because she has someone's wedding pictures.

WTF???? It is like she doesn't have a care in the world except what will happen to these pictures? :banghead:
