IMHO, it wouldn't be a wise move to put him on the stand before JA got up there to tell her "story". Then she would know what was up his sleeve and JA could testify accordingly.

Good Morning all,

Someone in a much previuos post was commenting on how long this trial has taken to even come to light, can't remember who.
But if you go to "Awaiting Trial" section there is the case of Brooke Bennet which happened is 2008 in Vermont which does not have the DP.
Well his crime was so damn horrendous(plus he had a previous record and knocked up his own sister) they want the DP and as they are arguing about all this he sits in jail protected.
I will never understand it.
Ayway that is way off topic but I did want to comment on that and Jodi's trial is not the only one that has taken forever to come to light.

It's been a while so I don't know if I'm remembering correctly, but didn't the court offer to have all the jurors escorted from the courthouse? I know they gave them all keys to a door around back for when they arrive.

Maybe the judge just needs to sequester the jurors now that this has become a media circus.

That jury would go insane being sequestered with this court's crappy schedule. The judge would HAVE to remove herself from everything else and dedicate all her time to THIS trial in order to wrap things up quickly. I really hope it's pretty much done by April 24th or so. Dang!

It is saying that it is CONFIRMED that he is not a rebuttal witness. I think they are on top of things, so......that stinks.

I was hoping for a moment where he'd say "yes, she sent me those messages in the magazine and asked me to lie for her about his abuse and pedophilia."

I can dream.....

I'm not sure how they are able to confirm that. It would have been nice to have MM has a rebuttal witness but really we have all that we need and more. There is just SO much evidence in this case. JM will blow us all away I'm sure. Can't wait!

Newbie to this case so apologies this this was discussed, I've been watching the trial videos when I can and thought that some jurors may have felt sorry for Jodi when she was being grilled by JM.. Then I saw this video of her laughing.. What a joke... For me, this just proves that she doesn't take any of this seriously and so anything she says isn't worth listening to. Does anyone know if this is the only time she has not been able to keep her composure?

Are you talking about the Justice for Travis page that is run by a couple of gals from Australia? I don't trust that page at ALL (for reasons I'll keep to myself).

But if that's the page - they certainly wouldn't know who is on the witness list, IMHO.

I read on here JM then whispered to her 'Is that better?' I don't think his question is picked up on the clip but I am not surprised she laughed at that.

I watched 48 Hours Mysteries about the Natalee Holloway case yesterday. The detective was saying that the FBI profile on Joran Van der Sloot was that he was a sociopath and a pathological liar. The Aruba Authorities could never get any evidence against Joran although they felt strongly that he had done it.

Joran escaped prosecution on the Natalee Holloway case and we all know how well that ended for Stephany Flores Ramírez because she was his last victim. Joran is the male version of Jodi Arias.

I sincerely feel that if Jodi Arias ever gets out of jail that she will kill again. I hope that the jury gives her either LWOP or the Death Penalty. She should never be free to harm another human being again.

I watched most of the videos last night and found them VERY disturbing... It seems like they were totally wasting there time with her. All this what about Travis's family...welll...that means nothing to her.. as we now know from the trial.

The only thing that would motivate JA would be some benefit to HER.

..unbelivable the part about the wedding pictures..WTF! This makes me think...maybe she is crazy? Why didnt they just go with an insanity defense? :what::what::

She is definitely crazy! But the insanity defense would have to show she didn't know that what she was doing was wrong. I think after all the post-murder cover up and cleanup that would be impossible to say she didn't know it was wrong! Also with all her lies she told after. From what I've just read, Arizona doesn't have a loose insanity defense, but rather a "guilty but insane" thing where the person would be at a mental facility for the length of time they would have been sentenced to jail. For JA, her ego is too big to ever admit to being that crazy and if she did decide to pretend she didn't know it was wrong at the time, she would still be stuck in a facility for the rest of her life. With self defense, she could be freed if believed. I hope I interpreted the articles I've just read accurately!
