I can't think of a nice way to phrase this to protect the poor peripheral players in this, so I'll just be blunt and apologize. I think the man may (MAY!) have a drinking problem? It's only speculation, so my apologies to the man if it's untrue!

He was a very regular at a bar at the place she worked. I don't know whether he was wealthy or not, but he was in a committed relationship and JA knew that. She would sit and talk to him about Travis while on her laptop (while working, lol!). She tried to show him pictures of Travis all night that night that she told him that she was going on a trip to confront Travis over infidelity.

He said he loaned her somewhere between $600-$800 (I forget the figure he gave). She did pay it back within a week or so, he said.

I won't detail why I think he may have a drinking problem (as speculation) other than that he was a bar regular, because it's rude to the man. But that could be a reason someone wouldn't make a great witness, imho.

I thought it was like $100

I don't think the man she supposedly borrowed money from was rich. He just knew her from a chat café. Apparently LE did not find his story credible and that could be her phone never tracked where he said he met her. Gus is the rich one. He claims he makes $100,000 before he gets out of bed in the morning. He obviously never used any of the money on retaining a good attorney. :floorlaugh:

Or moving out of a trailer.

I hope I'm not misremembering, but the figure surprised me. It was on Dr Drew, this interview where I saw all this. I'll try to find it on video and get the right figure.

I could be misremembering, so y'all do note that, yeah! Maybe I should just say that Dr Drew has an informative interview with this guy and leave it at that

Okay. I can understand the personal sick gratification in using a knife but then, why the gun?
You have to admit, one person usually doesn't use two weapons when killing one person. I can't recall any high-profile cases that mimic this.

But could it be she wanted to set the scene so it would look like two people were involved therefore buying her more time to perhaps head to Mexico?

What do we know about the last rental car she had? We know they found knives and a gun (in the engine somewhere stashed away) but do we know how long she intended to rent it for? Is there ANY information on this car?

The gun was to control Travis. The knife was make to make it real personal. I've noticed a lot of blood spatter on the outside lip of the shower. It wasn't disturbed by her putting him back in the shower. So, I'm trying to figure out when it would of got there. Like the blood on the baseboards of the potty room. Travis would of been down ,not standing when it got there.

I knew he wasn't gonna let this go after Thursday, which is why I asked about a juror being replaced by an alternate. The DT just keeps draggin' on, meanwhile the taxpayers are footing the bill.

I can't remember if it was Jodi or DB that Juan was questioning but Juan mentioned if MM was outside waiting on Jodi when she went to visit DB? He may have been talking to DB, iirc....I just thought it was an odd statement not knowing if MM was with Jodi on her visit to see DB...the way Juan stated that...i just thought that maybe MM was, indeed, with Jodi. Someone else may remember what I'm talking about.

Nah, imho. I think they seriously see this as a good avenue for mistrial or appeal, etc. It's about JA's case, basically, imho.

I think the girl's jealously is so voluminous that we'd have hearings every day if it were just over jealousy!

He's not giving up until he gets him some revenge.
