I think that Europe will sit back, hoping the U.S. do the dirty work, as usual. I believe that America is Iran's ultimate target. The attitude in this country of "Let's not get involved; and let's mind our own business." is a very narrow-minded view. I am with you the world is a very scary place right now and even scarier because Europe and many others want to bury their heads in the sand. The Terrorists are NOT going away, Iran is NOT going away, the leader of Iran is a total wack job. He wants to annihilate Israel (with the help of Syria and whoever else) then move on from there.
My belief is that we don't need to jump too soon, but we definitely need to keep a keen eye on what Iran is doing. If it looks like they are speeding up development of their nuclear capacity, we better make a decision to act. At that point, no country is safe--especially ours.
