Yep. I watched "I am Sam" the other night and at the one part the attorney and the main character were reciting the script the main character was to use in court. I though to myself, ohhh THIS is what they're doing all day at Baez's office.

The court document page doesn't list that kind of detail. Just says one was appointed. so I can't use it to verify if that was Jose or someone else. It's all line items. I belive that each one of those lines has documents. But I wouldn't know how to access them.

I heard LP address the question of a relationship between Casey and JB, during one of his interviews. He said it wasn't happening and that JB has a lovely wife and family. Can't find it to link right now.

The idea that JB is keeping Casey at the office to control what she says.....I find it absurd. All it takes is one lapse from Casey, one sentence where she forgets to misdirect, and this case could be blown wide open. She can do that just as easily during all the hours she is not at the law office.

House arrest or Home confinement is supposed to be just that. If it was supposed to be comfortable and unstressful they would confine you some place else.

My take is that this is a ploy by the lawyer.

If they push the visits to the lawyer too far, LE, etc get angry and might do something stupid. Then they can claim that she did not get enough access to her lawyer and the pooch is screwed.

It is a game to see how much pressure they can put of LE to make them react.

Sure Casey gets to spend time away from the house which is rediculous but there is more to this than it is uncomfortable and stressful at her house. We have already heard that the parents are pussy footing around her and not questioning her so where exactly is the stress coming from?

It is a lawyer to LE slap in the face to try to force LE's hand and make them react too quickly.

To LE I say, let her push it and push it. Eventually she will do something that is not allowed and it will be caught on tape or by someone here and reported.

The thing is...that if there is something going on between the KC and Baez...it will be her word against his. Gee, we all know how much we would believe anything KC says. So, it's a freebe.

I think that LE knows that she can't behave herself. She just can't do it. She will slip up and go against the lawyer and her parents and the terms of the confinement and she will do something stupid.

She can't help herself. She is used to being the center of her and everyone else's universe and she feels that Casey can do what Casey wants.

Someone needs to get a camera over to the lawyer's office or put a car over there for surveilance. She will slip up.

So visits with the attorney are unlimited in duration? That's also what I'm wondering. I just thought the people in charge of supervising the terms of her house arrest would've reprimanded her if she's spending too much time away from the house, but I guess when it's with the attorney it's ok?

Haven't you notsiced yet? Casey gets what Casey wants. Is he helping her avoid teh rules of house arrest? Are they doing lunch? Are they doing anything?

NO lawyer spends that much time with one client. At $300 an hour, they are losing big bucks by limited themselves to one client and one client only. If she is NOT with her attorney every minute she is there, I would think that would make it a violation of her house arrest. She can meet with her attorney - not play in his office and do other thangs.

I totally understand everyone's frustration with Casey apparantly getting her way, but the worst thing they could do is give Baez an opportunity to say his access to his client was limited by the court and therefore effected her case.

Has anyone notice that lately they have women escorting Casey instead of men. I think they have finally realized that she loooves the attention of a man. She probably has a thing Jose Baez by now. Hopefully, he is acutely aware of her mental status. I think the LE would be wise to find the hottest office on staff and have him question her. Or hell, have a whole slew of the hottest officiers. She would sing like a bird.

LOL. Yes, I noticed the women (and Lee) and I also noticed that someone on Nancy said that Baez's wife may have been him with the A's at their house for 20/20. I thought that was pretty interesting, perhaps telling. She may be on vacation from her job right now, "helping out" at the office as we type just to 'keep an eye' on things. I wouldn't want this particular client alone with my hubby 8 hours a day if I were her! Good police idea. Personally, I'm surprized she didn't have her cap set for Yuri. He's such a hottie, and cops seem to have been her type. Maybe she just wasnt thinking straight until it was too late and she was locked up in a cell.

You KNOW that after she's finally incarcerated, we'll hear about a few guards getting fired for "relationships."

Yes, but attorney/client rules prevent LE from bugging his office. Legal precedent allows them to bug the A home. Any words between Casey and Jose, even in her home are protected. But between Casey and Any of the clan are not. And I think also between Jose and the clan, since he is not their attorney.

Ok I know as part of her house arrest she was allowed to attend meetings with her attorney, but seriously, 6-8 hour meetings every day? Does this seem strange to anyone? I believe on Nancy Grace last night it was brought up and the lady covering for NG asked one of the panel attorneys if it is common for a client on house arrest to come to an attorney's office and watch cartoons all day. The attorney said it wasn't normal and thought it was rather strange if they are working on her defense every day, for that much time. I'm wondering if she's just doing it to get out of the house and she's just pushing the terms of her house arrest, or if she really is allowed to be there that long and if she maybe is doing something worthwhile there.

I just thought house arrest meant "HOUSE ARREST" ---not "Jose Baez's office arrest".

Very simple. If Casey is there - she can not get herself in more trouble. The high five between siblings could be something they are keeping from the parents. Jose's office = attorney/client privelege.
