personally, thank the Lord first that I trust my husband immensely. Secondly if I were Baez wife, I'd be at ALL the meetings period. I'd make him - make ME sign a confidentiality clause and be in the same room as the coniving little twit. She would try anything - I mean anything to get what she wants. Now I have to ask exactly what high-fiving after coming out of your confinement officers office and running the gauntlet of reporters and giving a high-five as soon as you think you are out of the way of the reporters would have to do with keeping something from their parents?

The frame of reference is all wrong.

In this situation, they might high-five because the got through the reporters without running their mouths or because they got something over on her confinement officers but if they got something over on the parents, the high-five would have been some place else and not here.

I tend to think of high-fives as something you do in the excitement of the moment and not later when you get around to it.

I think the high five has to do with getting them lying to get the upper hand over the confinement officer. Oh officer, I just have to see my lawyer every day this week for 6 hours. We are diligently working on my case and it is just taking sooooooo long. Nope, I can't go just 2 hours a day or even 6 hours one day....it just has to be 6 hours everyday.

After all she is a celebrity and she does need to work with her lawyer/agent to put her best foot forward. I wonder when the hair and makeup crew will arrive.

I don't know about a relationship but I DO know that this meeting with him 30 hours a week is a blatant attempt to skirt the issue of home confinement!

There is absolutely no reason to meet with an attorney that often on minor charges!

And she should have to stay at home with her miserable family!

She is getting the same breaks that someone who has a full time job gets and she does not have a job.

Its wrong and if I were a citizen of Orange County I would be on the phone to the judge and the home confinement officer and asking them about this!

There was a public statement about this on the local news(don't know if it is on tape) saying they could not question or restrict her time spent with her lawyer.

I suspect that being forced to spend all of ones time in close confinement with Cindy and Casey would probably violate the "cruel and unusual punishment" clause of the constitution. Although it could at some point lead to a valid insanity plea.

As someone above said. The court and LE really cannot question time spent with her lawyer, unless there is evidence of major ethical violations. if Baez chooses to stick her in an empty office witha TV and an internet conection all day, that is his choice. From his point of view it is an imperfect but effective solution. It prevents her from getting bored and wandering outside to speak with all the cute guys with cameras. It prevents her from getting into a major blowup with her family, by insuring that mostly what she does there is sleep.

Normally I can't stand the guy. He is a typical scum sucking defense attorney. but I will give him credit, in this instance he is going well out of his way to do the right theing for his client, in the safest and most ethically sound manner. And to his benefit, people are seeing him treating his high profile client in this manner. They are seeing him meet with her every day, and go out to her house late at night. When people need a defense lawyer, this is the sort of thing they look for. They want a scum sucking weasel who will work hard for them. This exposure will probably bring him alot of business, and its much more effective long term then going on camera and feeding the press lines of bullsh@t. (Which I notice he has stopped doing alot of).

Media is no longer allowed to be in the actual parking lot of the office building so I am across the street in the parking lot (actually in the grass) of a technical education center. Several other local media outlets are here waiting for Casey to come out of the office sometime soon since she has to be home at 6pm per her home confinement conditions. George Anthony's vehicle is backed into a spot in Baez's parking lot which clearly faces across the street. Help find Caylee is written across the back with a phone number. Waiting...... the beauty of all of this is that the truth always comes out and time will tell. So, there is no need to argue. We are just discussing that their behavior is suspicious and not what is considered "reasonable and customary" JMHO!!!!

He may be a good attorney-if you think he is, I won't argue. He's NOT doing what any attorney would do for their client. Attorneys don't invite their clients to hang out at the office all day long, every day. Most law offices have a business to run, and they are careful about attorney client privilege, even with their "non-star" clients. Short of locking her in a soundproof room (which probably doesn't exist at the office), she probably sees and hears plenty.....
All sorts of people get into trouble with the law...homeless for one. Using your theory, then all attorneys would give their homeless clients a place to hang during business hours.

Anyway, it's certainly food for thought that KC relaxes in air conditioning, watches soaps, surfs the net, and stuffs herself on micky d's while others care, search and worry about "her" daughter.

Ridiculous...I must say, those are the silliest looking sunglasses ever KC is wearin' and then to top the outfit off with about 20 ugly bracelets. Stupid. I have noticed CA, LA has started sporting these multiple bracelets....so.. 2 years ago and so 6th grade, Come on A'S, first off,ya'll are grown ups could ya at least dress the part and 2nd do not take fashion Q'S from MOTY KC.

Seems to me that she could change into whatever she's carrying in that backpack....different style of clothes, wig, different style of sunglasses, etc. and skip right out the back door into a waiting car that's not known to the public. Why not? I certainly don't expect her to be hanging out in a local mall or restaurant but she could be going for a drive and talking with a friend to break the monotony.

One of the guests on Nancy Grace said tonight that the Anthony's were building a website for Caylee. I would bet anything that Casey goes there to putz on the web and is in the process of creating the "Caylee" website.

It gets her away from her folks and gives her something to do during the day.

I can't imagine Baez would choose to spend 6-8 hrs talking to Casey every day. Ugh.

True. Altho, I don't see him doing this for just ANY client. This must be a new strategic move for him to practically allow his client to move in his office, but I am sure he will be paid very well in the long run...even when/if he loses. :waitasec:

I think he asked for them (the long visit hours)not thinking he would get them, and when they approved the visits, well he was stuck with her. Everything he does is to prevoke LE just like LE trying to provoke kc. only thing is LE is running the show, and baez doesn't have a prayer. do you really think he wants to spend all day babysittng kc?

You know, something keeps running through my head that a woman I used to work for always said (and she was a state supreme court justice). She said it was important, of course, to avoid impropriety. It was equally, if not more important, to avoid the appearance of impropriety, because that is often harder to overcome. IMHO, we don't know for sure what's going on at JB's office, but in my opinion, this is not the way attorneys normally work. What this amounts to, at the very minimum, is that dreaded appearance of impropriety.

reguardless of what anyone says, these pictures of her high fiving and smiling and partying are going to form an opinion to the jury, and yes your behavior, your character are all on trial, it's not just the evidence that convicts a person. any "good lawyer" will tell you that. And how do you know he is a good lawyer, has he previously represented you, or do you know anyone he has represented? Sometimes it is obvious when people are just trying to get attention, IMO of course.

Casey is a SOMATIC NARCISSIST!!! (do the research, her Mom may be more of a cerebral Narcissist, IMHO!!!) Men need to be wary around her at ALL times. She can be very charming, cunning, to get what she wants or to get you to do what she wants. I saw the video on NG of them coming out of the building together over and over and had to speak up about this. It may be nothing but I know a Somatic Narcissist and they will stop at nothing to get what they want. They don't care what people think of them either. The worst thing you can do to an N would be to reject them. Baez is giving her ALOT of attention because he has to but if I were him I would NOT be left alone with her. I am concerned for him......JMHO.
