Another family annihilation attempt (a daughter escaped this morning):

Los Angeles deputy city attorney among 3 dead in suspected murder-suicide in Northridge

Televised news is saying it was a murder-suicide, but not mentioning who killed whom. Parents and 20-something son are head, a daughter ran out around 9 am and called 911.

This is terrifying. per the video, the neighbor states the dad shot the mom first, put the daughter into a headlock, shot at her & missed, she struggled, broke free and jumped out a window as dad shot at her again. As she’s running for help she hears her brother scream & get shot. My God, how does the daughter live with all this?

It's absolutely terrifying. In a nice, fairly affluent neighborhood. And the dad is an attorney. Crazy.

I feel so badly for the daughter, whose entire life is now forever changed. People do learn to live with such things, but...my heart goes out to her and things will never be the same for her.
