LP's Confidence

I didn't know LP went to law school. I believe as you say they buddy up with people and keep their ears open when no one thinks they're listening. He has blown alot of hot air,but to those who think he's of no use consider this. FBH overheard KC say, "They haven't even found the clothes." That's about as incriminating as it gets. FBH was asking for immunity, so she must have something worthwhile to add.
I was mad when LP let the little monster out, but now I'm kind of glad he's inserted himself into this case, as he's actually making the A's squirm alittle, IMO. I also believe he does know more but is holding out for a book offer or some more face time and interviews. Either way, he did help put the nails in KC's possible coffin if she gets DP, or he's a thorn in all of their sides, by saying Lee told his parents not to take lie detector test. :too much info:

There is no proof that Casey ever said those words. LP used that as his basis for saying Casey removed Caylee's clothing before placing her in the pool and then fishing her out with the shovel. According to reports, it seems Caylee was found with her clothing.

True about FBH. That's fine. But he inserts himself into every fact that comes out about the case.... usually after the fact has already come out. Then he's vague about it (I believe intentionally vague), and everyone's confused. If he bowed out right now.. stopped appearing on NG and other news shows... the case would go on, and the facts may be more clear. He's gonna write a big fat book and I'm not going to read it!

Where does the information that the FBH asked for immunity come from? Anyone know?

Bounty hunters aren't "trained" to do anything but pick up poor, dumb people who are either too scared or more often too drunk and stupid to appear in court for their hearing - you pick them up, you take them to court and then you rebond them and send them back out. If you can read a map you can be a bounty hunter. Secondly, getting a diploma from a store front diploma mill isn't exactly the same as receiving a law degree. Neither singly nor together do these credentials add up to anything more than exactly what we're doing here - speculating, guessing and discussing various aspects of the case. There is nothing wrong with that unless you happen to have a penchant for the tv camera and spout off theories that do nothing but muddle and poison the jury pool.

Bev? R U a defense attorney?
Just because someone has the "job" title does not mean that they have experience in the Job "description"
I mean for example- Almost EVERY women can give birth but does this mean that she is a good mother. Or a police officer that has a degree in police science. There has got to be some sort of instinct or passion in ones job for them to be good at it.
I didn't understand why LP got inserted into this case in the beginning either but now I feel that his part has been VERY beneficial to us, the "spectators"
and also to LE, as a lot of people call this man because of his media attention getting personality. There is a lot that we wouldn't know and also LE can only do so much with their resources. I really feel that LP has a team in Florida and spending his own money to do it as because of his passion for the angel that has been murdered. I go to bed thinking of her and wake up thinking of her. He is so much like us reading every word that we can. BUT at least this man is doing something constructive with his passion, instead of complaining about others and bashing others.
He will even answer his personal phone to talk to anyone that calls him
He is real. It is a lot better than some people...... just sayin.

Ugh! OK. There may not be proof. In any event, FBH, and even LP, may have been privy to conversations we wouldn't otherwise have known about because they were in the house and given access for a while. They were useful in that respect. But that was a long time ago... LP's use has run out.

I have an idea of where this legend of the bounty hunter comes from, but 99% of the time the scofflaw is at his mom's, his grandma's, his girlfriend's or his own apartment. At least 99% of the time the investigation consists of asking Mom, Grandma or his girlfriend where he hangs out. At least 99.9% if the time, they're as p*ssed as the bail bondsman and will tell you where he is.

These are the qualifications you need to become a bounty hunter: a car, an ability to read a map, a newspaper to throw on the backseat of your car for the scofflaw to sit on and at least enough self control not to hit them upside the head when they puke on the floor of your car.

I completely agree with you except for the part about LP having any useful information ever. LP has contradicted himself too many times to be believable about anything. The FBH has never said a word so I have no idea how useful or believable her information is. My understanding is that she's not even on the witness list.

LOL...I know all this. I read the Stephanie Plum books.

How long ago was this latest story on WFTV posted?

http://www.wftv.com/news/18401963/detail.html

More contradictions from LP! He says in here that he talked to DC on November 15. Didn't he say on HLN two days ago that he talked to him on December 15 or 16?

When he is on NG, I roll my eyes and take a potty break. He has nothing to add of any value. IMO

OK, now please read this article.

http://www.wftv.com/news/18377039/detail.html

NOWHERE in this article does it talk about "a man in the distance" talking on the phone (supposedly DC). WFTV never quotes JH, it's not clear if they interviewed him or how they got the information from him, but he's talking about his video with the woods, the fence, etc. and never mentions DC on the phone!

If LE had found her the first time the MM called she would have been home on her birthday or very close to it, I can't remember the exact date of her birth. LP has done so much more than her family how can you hunt to find fault in this man? He's no saint but he never gave up until she was found. Thats all we could expect out of someone.

*bump*

I want y'all to look at the articles I've linked to above...

I think her birthday was August 9th.

Wow! :waitasec: I don't know where you get your assumptions from..TV or a fiction novel, but it ain't NEAR as easy as you assume, nor do they JUST "pick up" poor, dumb, scared, drunk people as you posted. A good friend of mine is a bounty hunter and I have done alot of skip tracing in my time. But, we wouldn't want to give LP credit for ANYTHING would we?

You got that right! It's a good thing that no one is judging us for speculating, isn't it? Or are they?

No one has to hunt to find fault. LP gets himself into trouble when he opens his mouth. If he wasn't a blowhard and kept in the background, he's be doing himself a favor.
I thought that he was in California when the remains were found. He wasn't in Orlando because he said that he was flying back after the remains were found.

Well, Pondering Mind, I spent 20 years as a juvenile probation and parole officer and although I never worked as a bounty hunter, I don't think I'm too much off the mark. I can't think of more than two times when Grandma didn't give 'em up before I got the sentence out of my mouth. More than several times Grandma called me before I even called her. But what do I know, bounty hunting could be a lucrative and quick paced career filled with action and danger. :)
