During Hernandez’s arraignment today in Boston, a text conversation between Lloyd and his sister, Olivia Thibou, was presented:

Lloyd (3:07 AM): “Did you see who I am with?”
Lloyd (3:11 AM): “Hello?”
Thibou (3:19 AM): “My phone was dead. Who?”
Lloyd (3:22 AM): “NFL.”
Lloyd (3:23 AM): “Just so you know.”

Investigators believe a fight broke out at Cure, a club in the South End, between two men and a group that included Hernandez.

The two men, Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, friends who grew up in Cape Verde, left the club with three other men in a BMW sedan in the early morning hours of July 16, 2012.

Abreu, who was driving, stopped at a traffic light on Shawmut Avenue, about to make a left onto Herald Street, when a silver or gray SUV with Rhode Island license plates pulled alongside the sedan. Someone from the SUV opened fire, killing Abreu, 29, and Furtado, 28.

The men who were with them survived the attack and the killings were left unsolved.

Police return to Hernandez home, as part of double-murder probe

Aaron Hernandez isn’t at his home, but police are. Again.

But they’re not there in connection with the Odin Lloyd murder case. Instead, WCVB reports that police have returned to the Hernandez property to investigate the unsolved double murder that occurred in Boston last July.

"Police are looking for Ernest Wallace, 41, accused by police of being an accessory after the fact of murder.

Police said Wallace, who is also known as "Bo Fish," was last seen driving a silver or gray 2012 Chrysler 300. The car has a Rhode Island plate 451-375."

Hmm I wonder if it's for this murder or is it the silver car with RI plates seen at the double homicide. Then again it could be both

I think it's the car Hernandez rented the afternoon after the murder...when they took the first rental car back...IIRC

An NFL scout revealed his team’s pre-draft file on Hernandez on Thursday, and one section stood out:

“Self-esteem is quite low; not well-adjusted emotionally, not happy, moods unpredictable, not stable, doesn’t take much to set him off, but not an especially jumpy guy,” the scout said.

Though he has three NFL seasons under his belt, Hernandez is just 23. He entered Florida in the spring semester of 2007, just two months after he turned 17.

But even arriving on campus at such a young age, Hernandez already was using marijuana and quickly settled into the party life of his Gators teammates, the scout said.

Hernandez left Bristol for Gainesville a year after his father, Dennis, died after complications from hernia surgery. Hernandez has said his father’s death affected him deeply, and sent him on a self-destructive path; his older brother, D.J., did everything he could to keep Aaron focused on football and school.

The scout said Hernandez had long been around “street activity,” and once his father died, it gave him reason to act out.

Not long after arriving at Florida, Hernandez was questioned in connection with a shooting outside of a nightclub, the scout said, but nothing came of it.

Just saw this speaking of RI plates.

Boston PD has located red SUV with RI plates it was looking for as identified in July 2012 homicide. Aaron Hernandez rented it.

Things are starting to make sense now.

AH and his buddies shot up three dudes after a drunken brawl in 2012. Odin Lloyd must have known about the 2012 shooting. Lloyd must have either bragged/gossiped about the shooting while at the strip club or perhaps led AH to believe he might be squealing by talking to the “wrong” people. AH must have felt he needed to silence Lloyd to cover his involvement in the prior crime. The two dudes he called up from Bristol are probably the same guys from the earlier shooting thus explaining their willingness to get involved in execution of Lloyd.

Just a theory mind you…

That is funny!

Either that or the guy was VERY worried OL would tell of his involvement in the earlier murders.

They are saying there is a connection between Hernandez and the vehicle used in that murder too.

What is known is that the Boston Police Department has located and impounded a silver SUV with Rhode Island registration that police have been trying to find for almost a year, which is linked to the scene of the double homicide, the source said.
Investigators said they believe Hernandez was renting the SUV at the time of those killings, the source said.

NFL begins its own Hernandez investigation

The NFL's security department has begun its own investigation into former Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez's murder trial. Results of the investigation will eventually be presented to Roger Goodell, who seems sure to suspend Hernandez indefinitely. The NFL informed all 32 teams on Thursday that it would strongly discourage any club from attempting to sign Hernandez to a contract during his trial. Speaking to FOX Sports, one source described Hernandez as a "would-be gangbanger" and acknowledged the Patriots were "concerned" with his behavior before the murder(s) came to light.
