I think what I saw had Hernandez doing the shooting.

I think he also dropped in the draft because of reefer troubles... not just gang stuff.

Yes he had failed drug tests (pot)

I would think the pic of him with the gun at age 19 was available to potential drafting teams too.

The arrest comes about 24 hours after Hernandez was led out of his North Attleboro, Mass., home in handcuffs.
Carlos Ortiz, 27, was charged as a fugitive from justice and has waived extradition to Massachusetts, authorities say. Prison records show Ortiz is being held on $1.5 million bail at a Hartford jail.
Officials declined to release the allegations against Ortiz, who is scheduled to return to court on July 23.

A home in Bristol, Connecticut, owned by the uncle of Aaron Hernandez has been searched as the investigation continues into the death of Odin Lloyd, whom Hernandez is accused of murdering.

WFSB-TV reports that investigators from both Connecticut and Massachusetts searched the home owned by Hernandez’s uncle, Andres Valderrama.

Interesting. Bail for him but not for Hernandez. Makes you think they know who was the shooter. Wonder if the 3rd guy is their 'secret' witness?

What does it say about us when one of our first thoughts upon arrest/arraignment/no bail/guilty or not....is that we hope it is televised?? :lol:

It seems unusual for the prosecution to lay out so much info at the arraignment unless it is a MA thing. I wonder if it is a tactic to put pressure on him for his cooperation. jmo

I've seen several past trials that were televised in MA


They seem to be camera friendly. IIRC, LE witnesses stand (instead of being seated) when they testify in the courtroom

oh come on guys we have to be talking about a super buzzed on something - walking around gun in hand- crashes his camera cell phone- returning the car himself,a body half a mile away.

He was my Fantasy Fiotball team TE. With Gronkowki recovering from surgery the first part of this coming season Hernandez was going to be busy!

He was my fantasy football guy too. Weird thing is, I lose every year because I wont pick guys with violent criminal history's. Then I managed to grab him. Sorry for the o/t.

Either that or the guy was VERY worried OL would tell of his involvement in the earlier murders.

They are saying there is a connection between Hernandez and the vehicle used in that murder too.

McCauley, in the bail review hearing, said investigators recovered.22- and .45-caliber ammunition from there. Prosecutors said Wednesday that Lloyd was killed by .45-caliber bullets, and investigators discovered a .22-caliber weapon near Hernandez's home in North Attleborough, Mass.

Would be neat to read the report to get a sense of the event, but LE is only reporting through their eyes as well.

For some reason , (dont follow sports) just now first time I saw him, and I got rough childhood , learning disability stuff from the way he read jmo.

Just trying to find out if he had rough childhood, substance abuse in the home etc ......we all are from where we came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
