there is no video of the actual murder, just some footage of his rental car entering the subdivision and then entering his driveway, plus his own surveillance footage in his own house



there was no evidence presented that anything was smashed or that a maid was hired

the prosecution said that footage was missing

They said they had video of him choosing to go left at a fork in the road instead of right to his house. How do they know the victim was shot getting out of the vehicle? Or is that just speculation for the most part?

I would just guess and MOOO that it is friends that he is helping out financially OR friends who enjoy their status as BFF"s of this rich and famous guy and they don't want to lose their status so he calls and they come running !

Still, it would make alot more sense to kill him on your own... instead of bringing two other witnesses into the picture.
Plus, guess who will be turning on him as soon as it is beneficial to themselves.

Maybe not. If these were indeed old friends from a gang (if he did join one years ago) I doubt that they will rat him out. Maybe that is why he was supposedly so upset with OL talking to certain people in a bar. Maybe OL was talking too much about things he shouldn't.

And where does the earlier shooting of three people fit into all this mess? Could it be a case of you helped me then, so I'll help you now?

Sam Heard was a high profile player that sold drugs! This was a guy with a 5 million dollar contract. Played with the Cowboys and the Bears, This was 2 years ago!

Just cause you get rich and famous doesnt mean you still not trying to be hood. Its the thrill for some people. They find the straight life boring. some people get arrogant too. Hernandez has been in and out of trouble since high school. There have been 27 incidents in the NFL since the Superbowl. Thats telling.

The guy in florida he supposedly shot didnt run to the cops cause he is a dope dealer. I dont have a link, but read that online.

Heard on the radio this morning that hernandez's financee' wants to get married, which could eliminate her from testifying. Apparently there is a law where the wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband.

According to this article, the murdered man may have had knowledge of Hernandez's involvement in the unsolved double murder in 2012- if that's true that is a pretty good motive

It started as a fight in a club then ended as shooting from a vehicle into another vehicle.

In the North Attleborough industrial park where Lloyd was murdered, surveillance videos captured the men arriving in the same silver Nissan that Lloyd had gotten into in Dorchester, the prosecutor said.

Once near a wooded area, Lloyd started climbing out of the car, and was shot once, which knocked him to the ground. As he lay there, he raised his arm and was shot multiple times. Five spent .45-caliber spent shell casings were later recovered, McCauley said.



It sounds like OL was shot from inside the car, therefore the car could hide the actual shooter from the camera.

A lot of athletes have entourage's. It looks like Hernandez was gonna have a gang. He might have thought that being a gang leader was better than the NFL, but it didn't pay much yet.

Being in the NFL is cool, but your just one guy on your team and your not the best guy on the team, but your good. His gang would be all about him being the best guy on the team, the proverbial QB, he could get a lot of :censored: done, for people who don't want to be recognized.

Thats a law that's hard to understand. I think the law means is you can't testify against your husband AFTER you've been married. So getting married wouldn't work. This happened before they would be married.

I also seem to recall that certain crimes are exempt from that. I'm pretty sure child molestation is one. A spouse can't keep molestation quiet.

The rumors of gang involvement was the main reason he fell to the 4th round the year he was drafted. He was the most dynamic Tight End in college his last year at Florida, but the gang rumors dropped his stock from what should have been a lock 1st round grade. One team supposedly went as far as to take him completely off their draft board and say they wouldn't draft him under any circumstances. This may make the Patriots look bad for drafting him, but by the 4th round the reward outweighed the risk, at the time, due to his talent.

I just saw this mentioned and came here to find out more. The execution style murder, along with texting friends who come running immediately, could be explained as gang behavior.

Thanks... I knew I had read/heard that somewhere.

I think what I saw had Hernandez doing the shooting.

I think he also dropped in the draft because of reefer troubles... not just gang stuff.

Easily could be considered a top 5 Tight End in the NFL. In other words, yeah this guy was really really good.

He was my Fantasy Fiotball team TE. With Gronkowki recovering from surgery the first part of this coming season Hernandez was going to be busy!
