The Bristol Press reported Friday that search warrants for a Bristol storage facility suggest Hernandez may have instructed Shayanna Jenkins to take a gun safe or lock box out of his home in North Attleboro the day after the body of Odin Lloyd was discovered.
The warrants claim that Jenkins was seen on surveillance video footage carrying a rigid object the size of a lock box or safe out of the house and into the yard, before loading it into her sister's car. She allegedly asked to use the vehicle to go to the bank and returned home about 35 minutes later without the object.

Thanks TexMex and Blondie in Spokane for posting about these new develpments. Now, we know why AH wanted to marry his girlfriend....Hmmm....

I think she'll be facing charges in the near future of "obstructing justice."

JMO, IMO, :moo:, and all other disclaimers.

Terrific Charles P. Pierce article from Grantland about the arrest's effect on team and training camp:

Something Wicked This Way Comes?
The Patriots prepare for what will likely be a truly bizarre season

Excellent article.....particulary the way Pierce wrote that Behlichek holds his cards so close that he has paper cuts on his spleen (or something to that effect). Witty, correct, and thoughtful.

I thought that article was one of the best written thus far! The paper cuts on the spleen was funny....LOL:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

It's funny how many people think that. IIRC, She can't claim spousal privilege on anything that happened before they were married and there are some crimes that spousal privilege is immune from.

Hopefully, one of our lawyers will drop by.

I know they can't claim spousal privilege, but apparently AH and his girlfriend didn't know it when all the "getting married in jail" talk was going around.

Seriously, AH doesn't strike me as being the brightest bulb on the strand. Anyone who calls and intimidates witnesses from jail, on a payphone where all conversations are recorded, isn't exactly too bright.

JMO, IMO, :moo:, and all other disclaimers.

BRISTOL --—
A state police dive team Tuesday concluded the search of a Bristol park for the murder weapon in the Aaron Hernandez case without finding the weapon.

Investigators received information that the gun used to shoot and kill Odin Lloyd in North Attleboro, Massachusetts on June 17 may be in a pond in Pine Lake Park, a source familiar with the case said. But divers who spent seven days combing the bottom of the mile-long pond emerged from the water empty-handed.

I wonder what he knew that killed him?

He certainly didn't get the memo about wearing a helmet. jmo

...The day after Lloyd's body was found, Shaneah Jenkins told authorities she was with her sister, Shayanna, and two uncles at Hernandez's home.

During that time, Shaneah Jenkins said she saw her sister go into the basement with an empty trash bag. Shayanna asked Shaneah to borrow her car and had a cell phone "communication" with Hernandez....

OMG...AH is just a nasty piece of work. I am sure he'll be indicted on this next. And gee, she had a car wreck too, that seems to be a problem with people associated with AH.

MOO

Ortiz has told investigators he and Wallace were at the Lake Avenue house the day before the June 17 shooting and returned there the next day, driving a Chrysler 300 that Hernandez had rented for them. A cousin of Hernandez who lives at the home, Tanya Cummings-Singleton, has been held in contempt of court since Aug. 1, after she refused to testify before a grand jury convened in the case.

Investigators say Cummings-Singleton and Hernandez's fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, both made "overt attempts" to hinder the investigation. The Bristol County District Attorney's office has declined comment on whether more charges will be filed as a result of the investigation.

A Massachusetts grand jury has indicted former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez on one count of murder and five weapons charges.

Hernandez appeared in Attleboro District Court for a 2 p.m. probable cause hearing, two months after he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the June 17 shooting death of Odin Lloyd.

He will not be arraigned today, according to an official at the Fall River Division of Bristol County Superior Court, where Hernandez's case will be transferred
