Oh what they're not having that Weed show on that night....?

my reaction to the trial delay is more than the first trial lasted longer than expected...they probably want a minimum number of days in advance of next trial to get him situated in prison before he leaves daily again...attorneys (not sure if they are the same?) need time and some strategies may be different now. Frankly the last thing on my mind is any reasonable appeal...I mean it has to be accepted to go to the next level right? I just can't think of any strategy for appeal that could be valid....I am sure he is not happy with his attorney's advice on some things but I think they did their best given the evidence....in retrospect...they should have just admitted he was there from the start because clearly Sultan's "bomb" at the end did not sit well with the jury...also I get the feeling that the jury would have liked to see him on the stand...they counted on an OJ result but in this case AH getting on the stand may have been to his advantage.

I didn't realize PCP is the same as angel dust. I could only find this RS article:
http://www.rollingstone.com/feature/the-gangster-in-the-huddle#ixzz3SDoKfwxq
RS appear to have done alot of research! According to the article, Bellichick (at least knew) looked the other way and should have fired AH long before.

Fascinating article, jilly! Fills a lot of gaps in my mind. Just like a snowball rolling down a hill -- faster & faster, bigger & bigger, and then, "Blam!!" it just rolls over somebody & leaves them flat. Ka-blooey!
Have steroids been definitely ruled out? Nearly every article I read about AH's bombasts & such just make me think steroids -- anger, then rage, then paranoia, then busting up something or somebody, etc., etc. Just thinkin' out loud. Lotsa other drugs get you there as well...

I knowww. I've read that article now about 3x - it's like a small novel and lots to absorb. I don't think AH did steroids, but not sure. Someone interviewed, said it was when he started really getting into the pcp he became very paranoid and unpredictable.
