Yes, Steelman, I was thinking the very same thing the other day. Exactly same thing. THe prosecutors. Odin's uncle. Anyone. Anyone he thinks even looked at him the wrong way. He is such as scary person.

It is truly chilling, shocking and disgusting to ponder his double murder motive. Some stranger knocked his drink and some of it spilled. SERIOUSLY? He kills two young men that he has never met because one of them bumped into him while dancing in a club????? That is just so ridiculous and petty that it is hard to even believe.

I would imagine they'll both point their fingers at AH, their lawyers will probably show that they hardly knew OL and had no reason to want him dead. I wonder if during either of their trials, to help prove that point, can all the things AH is alleged to have done (charged with the double murder, the shooting of Bradley, not to mention the conviction for OL's murder) be brought up to show what an unstable serial killer he is?

Ok, so in the pictures I"ve seen of them, I notice one of them always looks frightened and like he's been crying (I don't know which one it is). I think it would do him well to testify. He might have genuine remorse, I don't know. Like I said, it looked in the mugshot or jail picture, whatever it was, like he had been crying.

So, for example, let's say he gets on the stand and says that AH "made him do it," in other words AH had dominant personality and he just followed along. And if on the stand he is also very remorseful and shows that he's sorry (unlike AH ever showed), then I think the jury might give him 2nd degree or even manslaughter or something like that.

IDK, just thinking out loud.

I think that if they show remorse, they might have some kind of chance of not getting M! and spending rest of lives in prison.

It was baffling. Their defense strategy made no sense. They tried to say that AH was blindsided by the shocking murder and these 2 friends were PCP freaks that shot Odin with no warning. And AH was too scared to react.

Didn't the defense team think that the post murder videos were going to be a problem for that theory to be accepted? AH brings these 'freaks' back to his home in the middle of the night, walks in with his back to them, then hands one of them his baby girl to hold. Did they think the jurors were stupid?

I think the thing is that, because of the videos, Aaron really didn't have any defense.

I don't think they shoudl grant any appeal for ineffective counsel because there really was no defense for him, as there were videos that they could not get around.

Yes. And I mean, guess he didn't obviously watch trials like we do, but didn't he think that someone investigated murders?? I'm just so perplexed.

Odin at the Industrial Park - so did he think the police would just say, eh, dead body we don't know what happened let's just fuhgettaboutit.

The 2 men from nightclub-he thought he could just drive off and police would not question witnesses or try to investigate it any further?

I just really cannot understand it.

And apparently the defense never thought the jury would question why AH drove Odin and his friends to the industrial park in the first place.

The main question I have is whether the defense admitted he was at the murder location to try to seem more honest to the jury or to give AH an ineffectual counsel appeal issue.

AH, good question. But I don't think they can use that as a ineffectual counsel appeal.

Ineffective Counsel claims very rarely succeed. The only ones that I have ever seen that have worked were cases where the defense was blatantly negligent by not crossing witness or rebutting any evidence and by not bringing forth any motions to deny evidence introduction etc. If a defense team is 'lazy' and does very little or makes huge errors in judgement it sometimes works.

But I don't think the decision to 'admit' a truth, that was necessary for their specific defense strategy, would be sufficient grounds for that appeal.

The problem is, AH was a total **** idiot and left his defense team with almost zero options. Like you said, what was the defense's answer as to WHY they were all driving to the deserted industrial park at 3 am? They had none. But they really could not deny he was there because there was a video of him driving the car and picking up Odin. And arriving back home with the other two morons.

I don't think there will be a successful appeal. JMO

I agree. I think it is possible that they can try and throw AH under the bus as the bully that forced them to take part

It is very hard to understand. And the way he acted so confident and cocky during the trial---like he had no worries. So odd.

My husband could not believe he was guilty at first because he could not understand why a kid from the hood, who just signed a 40 million dollar contract and had a wife and new baby and a mansion, would be gang banging. He thought someone must have framed him.

Haha I love Jean Cesares on CNN said, with added emphasis, "And.....Aaron is only 25 years old AND....he CANNOT have conjugal visits because they are not allowed in Massachusetts." hahahahhahaha!!!

BBM

And the blunt with AH's DNA on it found at the scene, apparently rolled by the deceased himself (because his DNA was on it as well).

I agree, there was just no escaping AH being at the murder site (and being a *** idiot as well lol) but the defense using it in closing, as if it was throwing the only bone it had left to AH. If the appeals court thinks without the defense admitting that he may not have been convicted it could amount to something but I seriously doubt it would earn him a new trial. And as anal as the judge was about every single little issue and admonishing the jury often I don't think his appellate attorney will have much to work with either.

I know it's hard to understand the mind of AH. IMO it's what separates "Us" from "Them"
Looking forward to hearing from the Jurors tonight

Comments on the AC360 interview with jurors?
My impressions are that it was a bit different vibe than first interview..maybe because of AC or more formal setting ...different people talking and limited to mostly 2 or 3. The forewoman did not speak this time. One thing that struck me is that there was not that uniform head shaking on many of the questions indicating to me that the deliberations could have at times been very heated...I definitely think that some jurors had to be brought over to the murder 1...I think they are all comfortable with the verdict but I don't think it was easy getting there...before that interview last night I thought the time taken was mostly for going over so much evidence...but now I think there were some that wanted a different outcome but finally were convinced. I imagine that any jurors that were hesitant on murder 1 now are certain after all they learned after the verdict.

I am also concerned that the "reign of terror of AH" is far from over...he has so many on the outside just waiting for the signal to go after various people involved in this case. Probably be a long time in the future after his appeals are rejected and the next trial does not go his way.

Niice feeling this week 2 very dangerous people behind bars forever!!

Just had a thought. Wonder if the admission of AH being at the scene was done to try to mitigate damages from civil suits.

Sheriff: Aaron Hernandez exhibits some 'sociopathic issues'

http://www.bostonherald.com/news_op...on_hernandez_exhibits_some_sociopathic_issues

I watched a video last night--maybe from CNN where one of the guards said AH told him that when he got out of jail he was going to call Obama and recommend that the guard become a member of the Secret Service.

Dude is cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

 the only way he will leave prison is in a pine box LOL Just jumping off your post. Is he trying to schmooze the Guards LOL
