interviewed him--he swept the road, and saw a man out of his car, bleeding, but kept driving his route, but was sweeping alongside the gutter on right side road

Mr McMaster , the sweeper, apparently is now making a statement about seeing a woman standing up in an SUV through top window, but he never said that previously...

And now the sweeper admitted he never told the detectives about it at the time---but said it was because the cops were mean to him

I saw that katy...that street sweeper was pretty agitated. Can you imagine him testifying in front of the jury?? No way!

BOSTON (CBS) — It appeared to be bombshell testimony in the Aaron Hernandez murder trial. A street sweeper took the stand with a story the defense hopes can clear Hernandez in the crime.

Today the judge sent the jury home so he could hear from street sweeper Warren McMaster. He drove past the murder scene while on the job the morning of July 16, 2012 and says he told police that he saw what appeared to be a white SUV with a woman standing through the sunroof with a recording device.

“She could have been making a phone call or looking for help."
Did you tell this to officers?” defense attorney Jose Baez said.
“Yes,” answered McMaster.

Yeah, loving this judge so far!

The part about finding 'singed hair' was really a leap. Finding it in the sweeper dump was really a leap (if it even existed), especially four plus years later when this defense team took over.

Also, keep in mind this sweeper guy repeatedly didn't show up after being subpoenaed or then showed up hours late. He was supposedly also recently arrested by one of the officers that was at the murder scene and has an open assault case. He certainly had a chip on his shoulder along with his bizarre behavior as his story seemed to change when pressed with certain questions. Go ahead & put him on the stand and let the jury watch this disaster!

I really hope the jury does not buy this snarky BS being sold by Baez. He is attacking and berating every single officer/detective, one by one. Accusing them of incompetence, dereliction of duty, negligence, up to tampering of evidence and of intimidating witnesses. I really hope the jurors see through this charade.

So far, the detectives are remaining calm and not taking the bait.

Right now, Baez is trying to imply that Detective Haggan tainted the crime scene by being messy with documentation and collection of crime scene evidence.

Baez nitpicking each photograph---questioning why detective did not take note of exact time of the incident ---which was an hour and a half before he arrived

well DUH

Baez has referred to 'placing sheets on them' about 6 times in a row----he is really banking on that as making some big difference in the crime scene investigation...
