I just checked Trial Diaries video link and comments. It appears they may be out for lunch. What happened before that...well I slept in until 1130am and missed it all. Sorry, the wind and noise kept me up all night in Kansas! Might be a video of the mornings episodes somewhere. Will check it out.

AH is accused of murdering Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in 2012 and prosecutors are showing the gun to the jury.

"Jailene Diaz-Ramos, who was in a 3-car crash on I-91 in Springfield on June 21, 2013." LE found a gun in her trunk. She did not have legal authority to have a gun in her possession and was arrested. Tests found that the gun was used in the murder of DdA and SF. The gun was found a year AFTER the murders.

"The courtroom became tense as defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden questioned Trooper Lord on the finer points of lifting fingerprints from guns."

Judge Jeffrey Locke DENIED "defense’s motion for a mistrial based on the Friday testimony of a witness to the shooting at the heart of the case."

Defense said Raychides Sanche, the person that survived the shooting, "gave a “knowing look and head nod” in the direction of Hernandez in court Friday–and argued the shooting survivor’s testimony unfairly identified Hernandez as the shooter."

Everyone is out to lunch for about an hour....IMO that depends on the defense team holding things up again.

Locke said jury trial will start at 11:00 Wednesday. They are going to voir dire the tattoo guy (I think) in the am before jury, should be interesting. AH came in with a binder today and was busy taking notes.

Baez wants to run with the idea that is his 'gang' name. But I think it was just his nick name. Virtually all inner city kids, no matter what race they are, have nicknames they go by. It is nit unusual and does not mean that someone is a criminal.

Of course, technically Bradley is a criminal---he was a pot dealer, and he accompanied AH on a murder or 2. But I don't think Bradley was the 'gang leader' here---it was AH all the way, imo...

Here is what I don't understand about this case---IF Bradley was the shooter, and AH was the driver---so what? Isn't that still a murder charge on AH?


If you are driving a car, your passenger shoots 2 people dead, and you drive away eluding police. Isn't that also a crime?

He was recently sentenced for this with a plea for testifying in this case, so I am not sure how much of this Locke will allow in. Baez is definitely going after Bradley as the shooter, but also because he was a drug dealer and the Cape Verdean gang thing. Right now it is hard to say.

Bradley did testify during the last trial for AH, so this won't be the first time for him. That was a different set of circumstances and evidence though... and a different set of lawyers.

I also hope that the prosecution will be able to unravel all the players in that web in Bristol as they did in the last trial.
