Ana, as a real person, seems lost in the State's presentation. So far, a very methodical, sterile, unimpassioned case...

Perhaps a strategy? As not to inflame? To protect against appeal?

It's just that he didn't murder an something unimpassioned.

She was a living, breathing, impassioned, lovely, nurturing, talented, very much alive human being, mother to littles.

I hope that's not lost to the jury.

I'm sitting here thinking about BW's bloody, hair matted slipper. And AW's robe with darkish red stains. Then at lowes the purchase of a 12 pack of shoe covers. Purchased on 1/1//23.
The juror's are thinking of that too. IMO

Defense isn't denying the dismemberment or that he threw away all evidence including Ana. But her SUD was not as they described. Peacefully passing in her sleep. His slipper, and the bloody rug tell a different story of that night.
