If you consider the affair / the place in DC with rooms all ready for the kids/ all the sociopathic husband's troubles and all she learned about him and his pathoogy during their marriage....I often wondered if she was ready to leave him. That is the most dangerous time for a woman in a relationship with a man who is controlling or crazy.
That is where I am with this. Kitchen, knive, basement. Shoving her down the stairs with an active blood wound is not working for me as I feel there would be more blood spatter. I wanna know where that rug that we saw cut up into a zillion pieces with blood was in the house. JMOFill me in guys other than BW placing Annas death in the bedroom do we have any other evidence that it did in fact occur there? Could he have fought with her in the kitchen? Pushed her down the basement stairs? Pursued her down with the knife?
Sorry if I missed some evidence of death occurring in bedroom pls let me know if so.

I can only think of one trial where the defendant dismembered the body but claimed they didn't murder the victim----that was the crazy old rich man from NYC---did the murder in Galveston---Robert Durst---claimed self defense, not murderSo, in all my time at WebSleuths, I can't remember a case where someone innocent chopped up and disposed of a body. Am I naive, not very read, or does this happen all the time?
I honestly don't remember. I have had more distractions than I would like during this trial that I have been waiting and waiting for I wish I had blocked out more time for this. That rug and it's placement in the house is important to me. Did she lay there bleeding out and did BW's slippers trample all over it with her blood. How far was it from the kitchen. These are questions I think the jury needs to know as well. I do think knife + kitchen but I also think there was a secondary location that she was placed prior to the bad acts in the basement. Perhaps an area on the main floor that allowed BW time to consider his next course of action.Wasn't that the rug Ana was exercising on - that the defense kept fighting over until the prosecution took a still from it and cropped the child out before the jury could see it?
yes, many similarities with the defense in that case. It only takes one.I can only think of one trial where the defendant dismembered the body but claimed they didn't murder the victim----that was the crazy old rich man from NYC---did the murder in Galveston---Robert Durst---claimed self defense, not murder
AND HE WAS ACQUITTED
diccessfully? So many possible interpretations of your new word....Cross was the epic fail. When the prosecutor did re-direct, did he diccessfully sink the defense's cross?
That's exactly what I was thinking---the Defense is trying to hammer home the point that there's 'no body' for the ME to examine.
This is rich.
Defense attorney is trying to imply that investigators contaminated the home.
Her corporate security would have figured that out really quickly---once they saw that she hadn't accessed anything since 12/30.This witness (CSO Dunleavy) clearly cared for Ana. They really valued her at Tishman Speyer.
Sad to hear that Ana didn't access her corporate accounts, credit cards, email, etc, etc after 12/30...
Obviously (she didn't breezes she couldn't because she was dead) but it's still hard to hear.

They still have time to bring that home to the jury.Ana, as a real person, seems lost in the State's presentation. So far, a very methodical, sterile, unimpassioned case...
Perhaps a strategy? As not to inflame? To protect against appeal?
It's just that he didn't murder an something unimpassioned.
She was a living, breathing, impassioned, lovely, nurturing, talented, very much alive human being, mother to littles.
I hope that's not lost to the jury.

IIRC, she discussed this with her new boyfriend. She had set up her new condo in DC with bedrooms for her children, and said she wanted to tell her husband she was moving to DC with the kids.I often wondered if she was ready to leave him.
