I think they will, once the jury is in.
That would be good! I suspect Ana didn't let on about the affair, however.

This is what I'm picking up. The marital issues weren't typical DV issues. It was the financial and logistical challenges of his case and house arrest, the cost to Ana. Financial burden plus the commuting travel plus the separation from her children.

Nothing is a straight line. BW's fraud charges works be hard on ANY marriage. Affairs, not unique to this marriage. I think Ana was battling either-or. Who even knows what are was thinking when she started her affair. Likely needed a confidant...

IMO she was waiting to tell BW about the affair to see if he'd be sentenced to prison.

Had h I s charges been dropped, who knows. Maybe she would have ended the affair and she would have moved BW and the children to DC. Maybe she would have divorced him anyway. I think she was carrying the weight of all of that.

I wonder if, on NYE, BW felt frisky (believing he could woo her back) and Ana did not. If she pulled away, perhaps that sparked the conversation that ended in her death.

Same story as always.

If I can't have you...

Judge interrupted testimony to instruct the jury.

Objection to "marital problems", sustained, now in sidebar.

The Defense does not want the jury to think the marriage was in trouble, naturally.

IMO the State is doing a poor job with this witness.

BW's arrest was straining the marriage. The distance pained her. Separation from her children. Those were the marital problems.

He is re living his last moments with Ana and the family he called one of his own. Trying to make sense that the man sitting across from him in the court room is responsible for her permanent absence.

He was obviously very close with Ana and the kids….on this last night he spent with her. His emotions are not lost on this jury…..

What a sweet message from Ana, on the wine box.

I wonder how many minutes after writing on the box Ana was dead.
