Maybe he was to old to be allowed to go ? I dunno for sure.
Confused by his attire, backpack and ball cap didn’t jive with her prom dress
Making a bit more sense now but odd photos

His buzz cut, is he military?

I’m worried about who last saw her.

“She was staying with me previous to the home. It was a shelter for homeless pregnant women in Pembroke, Mass it’s called ‘Bethesda House’ and she stayed there for about three weeks and had been kicked out because she had to go to the hospital the day before, because she had vaginal bleeding and she didn’t get back til 6 in the morning and missed the mandatory meeting. So, they told her they think the program was too stressful and it’s best she leave,” said Faith.

Faith said the shelter provided Kylee with transportation to get to the boyfriend’s home in Rehoboth.

She had planned to pick up some of her things that she had left there, and wanted to have a conversation about their future, prior to her disappearance.

“I wish I knew more, and I wish I could piece together what’s happening and, you know, have some kind of hope but with them not really giving us any information at all it’s hard to keep that going,” said Catherine. “Our plan going forward is to keep searching and keep doing everything we can to connect the dots.”

The Monteiros said while they’re aware there’s a lot of speculation surrounding her boyfriend, their hope is that people don’t point fingers when no one seems to know what really happened.

“We don’t know how he feels but he might, he has an unborn baby out there, he’s worried sick I bet. He cared about this child too,” said Faith. “We have no clue, there’s so many theories, so everything is popping in our head. I could give you a million scenarios right now of what could have happened but none of it adds up because knowing her and her personality and how she was, this is very scary and she wasn’t the type of person to go out on her own. She wasn’t always contacting family, reaching out for advice, for help, always in contact with somebody. It’s all very scary.”

I seriously want to know why a shelter would drive her out and back to a place she did not feel safe at?
What!!
She got kicked out for seeking medical treatment ? I hope they investigate this shelter and maybe sue them if she don't show up.
can you imagine ?

Kylee allegedly told her sister those details about the shelter. Not sure how much weight to give it, sounds like Kylee might not have been obeying the shelter's rules and was asked to leave.

No shelter is going to kick you out for being in the hospital and missing a meeting. JMO.

There are shelters that absolutely do that for missing a meeting, regardless of circumstances. I would just be shocked to discover that a shelter specifically for pregnant people would do that, given that it’s a specific place for specific people that need special considerations because they’re pregnant.

Right good point . Although I hope the media follows up with more on that.
I don’t think a shelter would comment on something like this. Particularly when one of their recent clients went missing, under these circumstances.

Still holding out hope she and her baby are safe.

I think she left to go to her boyfriends and used that as the reason

She is missing so ,the shelter should at the very least ,admit the last place they drove her ,to the police at least right?

I was really hoping for good news on checking this thread. Where is this young woman?

I’m certain the shelter is cooperating with the investigation.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this place would dump a pregnant woman back with her abuser if she missed a meeting because of a medical emergency, especially if it was pregnancy-related (bleeding). I have my doubts they would cooperate honestly with any investigation.

Can you please speak to why you feel this way? If the shelter was named, I think I missed that, what’s it called?

Not the original poster but the shelter has no legal obligation to cooperate. From their Google reviews, she is not the first person to be removed from program.

I have not read the reviews but I'm wondering if she was kicked out because she was no longer pregnant? The trip to the hospital might mean the pregnancy was lost? IDK, just a thought.

I really was hoping for a "found safe" by now.

(the reviews - Google Search)

The homeless shelter in my city also has very strict rules that they expect every person to follow, for the safety, privacy and wellbeing of everyone else there. Everyone going in knows the rules, and the ones that are asked to leave are the ones who decided to break the rules. After reading the reviews from the few people that were asked to leave, it sounds very similar.

He didn't go to her prom. Some WSers suggested schools rules may require attendees by under a certain age. He is 22.
