Well, not completely forgotten. Here we are not forgetting her 40+ years later! And that's wonderful but it's still so sad that the right people seem to have forgotten her. I really hope someone comes along one of these days or finds a missing spot in their family tree or something.I was driving by there a few weeks back and thinking of her. I hate that she's been left for so long without a name. I agree CheddarMom, it's weird that she's so completely forgotten.
The dental thing can be so many things, I've seen so much speculation throughout the thread. I'm not so quick to peg her as mentally disabled or as a prostitute or a meth head, but who knows? I hope it wasn't a result of a sad or neglectful childhood as well. I assumed she had weak enamel, maybe was a runaway, or at worst someone who had been kidnapped for maybe a while (kidnappers don't take their victims to the dentist, and that shirt could have come from anywhere). That shirt is odd, but again who knows where she got it, a thrift store, a friend along the way, something she made, ect. I get the feeling she was not from around here.
