I agree. If he was found nearby, he should still be alive. It has not been that cold around here or anything like that. My sympathy to the family and all those who knew and loved this beautiful little boy. JMO MOO

It is so hot and humid in my neck of the woods, a small child could easily dehydrate and die from a heat stroke in 48+ hours. Or perhaps there was some sort of foul play. Waiting on the ME report. RIP

I’m beyond saddened by this. The window of time was only 15 minutes! Heartbreaking. God Bless you Harry, and may He comfort his family and his babysitter who must be devastated. I don’t wish that kind of trauma on anyone.

It is about 1/10 of a mile from the Babysitter’s home to the farm. There is what looks like a shallow pond right behind the buildings.
Very sad. LE were draining pools yesterday. How was this pond that was so close to the house missed?
ETA Much easier to see on Google Earth.

Both CBS Boston and WHDH reported around 2 p.m. that officers had cordoned off an area on Varnum Avenue, the street that Freda Lane connects to. The networks both reported that the boy’s body had been located. Boston 25also reported that police presence was centered on a tree farm located roughly a tenth of a mile from the home Harry disappeared from.

Officials are expected to provide further updates at 3:30 p.m.

The 3-year-old boy disappeared from a babysitter's home Tuesday morning. Police did not suspect foul play.

RIP sweet little Harry. My deepest condolences to his family. The pain of losing a child must be the worst pain any parent could suffer.

Officials in Lowell confirm the body of little 3 year old Harry was found in a pond around 1 this afternoon.. the pond was searched 14 hours earlier but he was not located at that time

Harry Kkonde found in a pond 650 feet from the home where he wandered from in five feet of water

Investigators don’t know his movements to get to that point. Firefighters had searched pond yesterday morning
