I was curious too! Just looked it up and I guess a “late term” abortion can be a two day procedure.

Probably the latter, that the body had been there for two days or the victim had been dead about two days. Imo

The news articles made it sound like trash pickup was off by a day so people noticed the yellowish laundry bag out with the trash at the curb for two days before anyone suspected what was in it.

If she went willingly (or has been groomed to think she went willingly), there probably isn't much LE can do, other than find her and get her to confirm she went willingly.

Remains of pregnant New Bedford teenager found in Florida

MASHPEE, Mass. — A deceased body presumed to be that of a missing 18-year-old Massachusetts teenager was found Wednesday afternoon outside of Vero Beach, Florida, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III said.

Authorities said the presumed remains of 18-year-old Jalajhia Finklea of Mashpee were found around noon Wednesday in Fellsmere, located northwest of Vero Beach.

She was five months pregnant when she left her mother's home the day before her 18th birthday.

"Although the deceased is presumed to be Ms. Finklea, a positive identification has yet to be made," the district attorney's office said. "An autopsy will be conducted in Florida to positively identify the deceased and to determine cause and manner of death, which is believed to be homicide."

The presumed remains of Finklea were found approximately 500 miles away from where 37-year-old Luis Zaragoza, wanted in connection with the disappearance of Finklea, died.

UGH. NOOOOOOOOO So sad to hear this news. No justice to be had but at least her poor family can have some closure.
and thank god that a$$hat can't hurt anyone else.
