Ha. I always hope the opposite! --Not that I want a lot of dead bodies popping up but that the missing people will get found as spring thaws everything out

Rumor is that they're pretty sure who it is. Fingers crossed.

"Police Commissioner William Evans said Lipka is facing a charge, but it is from a different case than Brancato’s disappearance.

“He’s the individual I think they’ve been looking at,” Evans said on Sunday. “I think they’re charging him with an old case where he pointed a gun at someone. Assault by means is what I believe they’re charging him with.”

In one version of their video, Joey’s mother says Joey told people 3 times that Lipka had threatened him.

Please note that they keep updating the report and video, so what you see currently may or may not match the above.

Also, I think I’ve pinpointed where Joey’s body was found, based on the helicopter video in the news reports. It’s obvious to me that his body was dumped here. It’s not an area where anyone would be walking, unless their car broke down (but then there’d be a broken down car nearby). But this area is also a very heavily traveled area, so it seems like it would be difficult to drag a body from a car without being noticed. It would have to have been in the middle of the night, but even then I’d think there’d be some cars passing by.

This is about 15 miles from my home. I’m certain I’ve driven by there many times since Joey’s disappearance. Thousands of cars drive by there daily.
