Because they don't want to emphasize the fact that OJO was a fellow officer.I was wondering if anyone might know why Lally keeps referring to JOK as "Mister O'Keefe" instead of "Officer O'Keefe?"

It is the FBI. It was ruled early on none of the witnesses or attorneys would be able to refer to the parallel investigation.Could FBI be the "outside agency" that hired ARCA? Why is name of agency being kept a secret?
Do you know what the reason was for that ruling? I must have missed that, I just knew it couldn't be said...It is the FBI. It was ruled early on none of the witnesses or attorneys would be able to refer to the parallel investigation.
It is the agency that hired him. Judge isn't allowing them to be named. The CW doesn't want the jury to know that the FBI did their own investigation and found he wasn't hit by a car. This is what I want to know!
omg here it is, COMMENT OF THE DAY!"Your Honor, I object!"
"Why?"
"Because it's devastating to my case!"
"Overruled."
"Good call!
I’m not 100% positive. Because the FBI investigation is ongoing? Prejudicial to the jury maybe?Do you know what the reason was for that ruling? I must have missed that, I just knew it couldn't be said...
Absolutely he was unconscious from the immediate head bash.@SueNBCBoston
Little asking about the impact of the head.
Sheridan explains that could have been the cause of death due to hemorrhaging and contusions.
Says OKeefe would have been unconscious.
Would not have been able to stand or walk.

But folks, that what experts witness testimony does and why it is so useless. ...
The expert testimony is summarized as: "We can't figure out how this happened so it probably didn't". We know because me and my friends myth-bustered a car hitting him..."
Its was almost idiotic what they said on the stand.
@BienickWCVB
Lally begins cross-examination with the same question as he started with for Wolfe, that their report findings could be altered if new info is learned.

Oh, so Trooper Paul gets his pirouette but fails to launch....@BienickWCVB
Rentscher says the injuries on O'Keefe's right arm extended over 12 inches and the taillight width was only about 6 inches.

Rentschler says a car hitting an arm would cause the body to spin but would likely not cause the body to be projected.
