The Norfolk district attorney’s office placed Proctor on the so-called “Brady list,” which is for law enforcement officials who are under suspension or investigation and whose credibility is subject to questioning.

Can't be trusted due to "“alleged conflicts of interest, communications with non-involved civilian persons regarding the Read case, and statement regarding the defendant from which defense counsel argued a bias could be formed.”

Bias, you say? Oh, but I'm sure this horrible officer of the law would never plant taillight evidence to create a case against Read. Taillight evidence that wasn't there when the Canton police searched the area with a leaf blower when there was only a few inches of snow on the ground.

Let’s hope that at least this investigation is just.
Trooper Proctor may face 'permanent discipline' at Mass. State Police hearing next week - Jan. 15th

Maybe he'll be inclined to spill a bit seeing he has most likely been ghosted by the others unless some feel, keep your 'enemies' closer. He is their enemy if they feel he MAY spill.

In a new filing, prosecutors are also asking a judge to stop forensics expert Richard Green from testifying.

Green testified at the first trial about a Google search by Jennifer McCabe, a key witness in the case.

Green said the search “how long to die in cold” was made around 2:30 in the morning.

McCabe said the search happened when O'Keefe's body was found because Read asked her to.

Ahead of the second trial, prosecutors asked the judge to bar Dr. Marie Russell, a retired emergency room doctor and medical director for a prison in California, who testified for the defense in Read's first trial.

"I believe that these injuries were sustained by an animal, possibly a large dog, because of the pattern of the injuries," she said during her testimony.

Russell cited "parallel marks" on the upper part of O'Keefe's arm that she opined were inflicted by either "teeth or claws."

Can't wait to see how Judge Canone rules today....IF she rules today. She usually takes a few days :(

I REALLY don't like Brennan's courtroom manner.

Agreed. I did not like Lally either, but for completely different reasons.

All these questions having absolutely nothing to do whether, Dr. Rusell is qualified or not. Why Judge Canone is letting this farce continue is beyond me? This seems to be playing up for the cameras and nothing else.

Seriously dude, there are no "FACTS" on this accident, only assumptions that the Lexus actually made contact with O'Keefe. Quit trying to make it seem like she didn't do a complete assessment.

Sounds like this prosecutor is sticking with the theory that the tail light shards caused those abrasions on JO's arm.

CTV had a dog bite expert on Vinnie's show last night and he believes the abrasions were caused by a wild animal but not a dog. I think that is a more realistic theory but JMO.

This guy is so annoying! It sounds like he’s trying to trip her up. As a dog owner, she was absolutely right about the irregularities of incisors. Teeth wear down, get extracted or shift. Do we have very recent X-rays of Chloe’s teeth?

We don't even have Chloe available to look at her teeth/mouth, the Alberts "re-homed" her.

So IIUC seems like IMO the new prosecution team is using a ‘scorched earth’ approach to try and jettison all of the defense experts and theories. This is bound to get interesting. I wonder if the prosecution will also work to jettison their star witnesses and entire case (e.g. proctor, Bukhenik, their testimony, and the questionable evidentiary collection (or lack thereof), samples labeled by someone aside from the evidence collector, the reversed imagery of the Lexus in the garage, the other ‘witnesses’ at that residence, the odd search for ‘how long to die…’, and all the derrière dialing)?

As others surmise…. so looking forward to the judge’s rulings on these motions. Well, then again. IANAL. MOO
