I keep reading about how nobody (except Julie Nagel's vision of a "black blob") saw anyone on the lawn outside 34 Fairview when leaving the home that night. Does it not occur to anyone that, with snow, most objects are EASIER to see, especially in the dark? This makes me think that there was NO body there until WELL after the CW's timeline. Whether he was placed there by someone from the house, or stumbled there grossly injured after leaving, I can't be sure, BUT I'm certain that if he were there, he would've been noticed, especially by the plow driver, Lucky.

I've driven by Fairview many times at night. Your point about snow is well-taken but even without snow there is sufficient ambient light to see a large (John was a solid, over 6 footer) body on the lawn. There is a very big highway-style street light on the other side of the Albert driveway and I would imagine Nicole had the front lights on. (I think she testified she did, to encourage people to use the main entrance and not the side one.) And then there are the headlights....

One other thing about 34 Fairview that I think is really hard to appreciate from photos is that the front lawn is actually pretty small/short and closer to the street than the photos make it appear. It's simply impossible for me to imagine anyone missing a body there as they walked and drove by.

I would note that between the medical examiner and the lead investigator on this case, only one of them has been dishonorably discharged and fired for misconduct…

Seriously. Proctor was a problem before, but now it's official and in writing how badly he handled everything. (and IMO, his superiors who giggled along with him and signed off on his crap, phony investigation should end up fired too.) His lies alone about not knowing the McCabes and the Alberts well - or at all - should result in everything he did or didn't do here being questioned. But now the head of the state police has fired him indicating that his actions created an appearance of bias. And his bias and hyper focus on Read alone is why the truth of what really happened to Officer John O'Keefe never came to light.

Can someone tell me how many people conspired and would have to be lying if the victim was killed inside the house and subsequently placed outside?

The CW arguing (whining) in court about ARRCA made me realize something a bit crazy. They literally are acting like a defense team here, not the prosecution.

Honestly, why in the world would the court not want the truth in court?!!!! The whole truth is fine - the feds investigation is over. But, why hide the truth from the jury?

Has her own agenda along with Morrissey etc. etc. this kind of thing has been done many times in many places. None included decent moral character or any character or high intelligence, just what was in it for them.

Conspired? No one knows who knew what at what time. I'll just start out saying that Brian Albert is a local minor celebrity who was on a national cableTV show about Boston cops about 10 years ago and was considered to be a pretty powerful guy in the local area. Just for context.

The party was originally for Brian Albert Jr.s birthday. His parents, sister, cousin, aunt, and uncle were guests. Two of his friends were also there, testifying they were seated in the dining area of the house for the duration with the other younger people. The door to the basement would not be visible from the dining table.

Brian Higgins was also there. I personally suspect his relationship with Karen was the reason John went into that house in the first place. Something was going on with John and Higgins at the Waterfall (on video) and this was mere minutes before John would have arrived and presumably headed down to the basement where there was a bar set up. Perhaps to confront Higgins who was searching for whiskey he claimed at trial he never found?

So what were the non-involved party goers told to tell the police? Here I'll quote Matt McCabe's group text: "Just tell them the guy never went into the house".

The "guy". And that's exactly what everyone said. Easy peasy story. Nothing to remember to keep stories straight.

Not all that you mentioned are lying just the "in crowd" It would be a tough call to make and continue to live there and act like nothing happened. I wonder how close these good friends or even family still are and if any have moved away or distanced themselves from the rest. I can't imagine anything would ever be the same.
