If only it was just Higgins who got rid of his phone that's one thing and possibly a big nothing but it's not. It's just an amazing coincidence that on the exact same day another person, Brian Albert destroyed his phone and got a new one as well. I could maybe see that if that was the only coincidental thing that happened with people in and around the murder scene from that night, but it's not. It's just one of many. And there are way, way too many unbelievable things and way, way too many perfect coincidences involving the people who were around JOK that night to make me believe that some or all of them were up to something nefarious.

And again because it bears repeating over and over....The only people who destroyed cell phones, deleted texts, made multiple butt dials, hid, retired, worked on their day off, rehomed their dog, tore up the basement of their house and had it redone, sold their house for well below market value, repeatedly lied on the stand, got fired for their actions in the investigation, lost video footage, manipulated video footage, etc, etc, etc...were NOT Karen Read.
100 percent. People have shown that they HAVE NOT at allll, repeatedly, odd. HAVE to have watched and retained from start, thinking caps on.

Personally, I find witnesses not recalling or remembering incredibly honest.

I would find witnesses that repeat the exact same thing from grand jury, depositions, first trial and now the second trial to be suspicious.
Considering, I couldn’t tell you what I cooked for dinner every night two short weeks ago.

The big stand out things yes - the minutia nope.

I think probably KR was not charged appropriately…overcharged…
but is ultimately responsible for his death. There should be consequences for driving drunk and recklessly causing someone’s death.
She should not be allowed to walk simply because everybody is, appropriately I think, upset about the corrupt police in Boston. Where is the justice for the victim? He is lost in all of this circus.
Try KR.
Then clean up the police.
I don’t buy all the conspiracy stuff in this case. It is a version of a new tactic by defense lawyers to set the world on fire to distract public opinion. Paint the accused as a victim of something, and court online sympathy. Taint the jury pool. Check the Murdaugh trial, check the Delphi case, check the Idaho murder case.

Opinion
After watching the players on the stand during the trial you feel this way still>

I want to say something in here about TurtleBoy. He may not be perfect, but he brought eyes to this case. In a way, I do compare him to Nate Eaton and Justin Lum with the Daybell case. If they hadn't taken the time to really chase down the facts, the rest of the media would have been blind to how convoluted and crazy that story is!! I say the same thing about TB. If he hadn't taken an interest, I don't think people would have seen how much corruption there is in this case.
ABSOLUTELY.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed> ... If missteps that occurred in the investigation into JOK’s death are so common, why is the FBI not more frequently involved in local investigations? Why are we not seeing the FBI carrying out their own parallel investigations all the time?

I

The accused has changed her story more times than I care to count.
Nothing is more sketchy than that

All IMO
Really. How about covering up the truth about the murder of a fellow officer inside the home of another officer. Then said other officer just about guts his house to get rid of any evidence, rehomes his dog and skips town.

ABSOLUTELY.
Hence, Alberts, Morrissey want him to disappear. Brought the eyes, brought the nation's attention brought out people's vigilance regarding their rights that feel violated and railroaded. Strength in many numbers.

Right, they didn't see him from where they were. You have to know and see the layout of the house, entrance straight to basement. REALLY need to research.

I don't need to research. No one has presented any evidence of JOK being in the house and numerous witnesses have testified that he never came in.

Do you have evidence JOK entered through the entrance that led right to the basement ?

RIght, public knowledge regarding J.McCabe's sister's bf and Albert buddy/employee did the floor over. Keep it allll in the fam continues.

They were called to an unattended death, not a hit & run.
I think they did a decent job in terrible conditions. Was it perfect? No.
It factually changed nothing.

Lack of preparedness & training for evidence collection in a blizzard, yeah.
Deliberate conspiracy to frame KR?
It’s laughable

IMO
Like blizzards in January in Massachusetts is a once in a while thing...ever heard of nor'easters

All things were very visible, not an actual blizzard or nor'easter as is imagined at that time.

This is fallacious. This line of thought is called the ‘burden of proof’ fallacy. You are demanding proof of something that was never investigated. It is impossible to prove a negative.

I have not looked at Albert yet. To be honest I am finding it a lot of work to sift through what stuff is alleged, what stuff is rumour and what stuff is more solid.

IMO
Stick around for the second trial. CW did so well with the first and only with the help of the judge here we are.

Have to watch the witness on the stand. EACH one of them, carefully.

Yep, there was only about three inches or so of snow on the ground. It had been lightly snowing. Heavy snow didn't start until 9am-ish. There were high winds, though.
IMO.

Throwing around that leafblower didn't help. Sure did not unveil red and not tiny pieces turns out, plastic. Right, those were found later by Proctor and ex chief.

ARCCA didn’t have all the data
They didn’t test every possible variable

They have a sketchy relationship with the defense

<modsnip: No need for snark>

I’ve asked repeatedly and the question never gets answered — how do you know they didn’t have all the data? And why didn’t the CW have all the data? Why was the CW explanation “it just did”???

Lol ... I'm not demanding anything. But when 10+ people testify that JOK never came in the house and unless they are ALL lying, JOK never came into the house. You can speculate all you want. You could also say Brian Albert came outside with Chloe, yanked JOK out of Read's SUV, and they both attacked him viciously and killed him.

And how do you reconcile accident reconstructions saying it couldn't have happened? Just ignore it?
Exactly. The testimony from both independent reconstruction experts at their hearing.... that is not allowed in this trial...said they were given the task of determining if the car would be damged as shown after Proctor got a hold of it AND if the injuries to JOK body could be done from a car in reverse at 24mph. Both said No with their explanations.
