Will be interesting to see the reaction to all of Karen Read’s inconsistencies this time around.

I really do hope the CW has appropriate evidence this time around. Otherwise, what's the point of them having a retrial. Even with better evidence though, I would find it difficult to convince the jury that she is guilty BARD in my view.

Exactly ! It is the taint of Proctor, and also his non-investigation of 34 Fairview that sinks the case. There is no case. IMO

The 'bibbity bobbity boo' creation of the tail light pieces is pure nonsense and fabrication, as evidenced by the manipulated ( flipped) video, and the entirety of the whole missing video. The dude was canned for his behavior for cryin out loud.

The man was fired for having instincts. He pegged Karen Read for exactly who she is and what she did, sharing his opinion with, out of state friends.

Actually, he was fired for saying he hoped she would kill herself, and for non consensually looking for nude photographs of Karen on her personal devices.

Just to be clear… we’re defending a state trooper who admitted to saying he hoped a woman killed herself and was searching for nude photos of her during an active investigation? I don’t think many people would accept that behavior from an officer investigating their family member. Integrity matters, especially when justice for JOK is on the line.

That was only a start as the public knows.

I can't imagine how you will feel if anyone in your family is railroaded by a cop that feels like he/she did something they didn't. Cops can have instincts, but they still need to follow the LAW. They still should do an actual investigation! They should still collect REAL evidence! For crying out loud, he was also offered a bribe by someone for not investigating! This is a crime and honestly, in my opinion, the whole case should be thrown out for his lack of integrity alone!

He never said he was joking - and he had the opportunity to say that on the stand. It can be your opinion, but wouldn't he have tried to reduce the damage by saying it was a joke if it was? He said he regretted it and it was in poor taste, but he never said he was joking. Also, he never said he was joking about it being a cops house, so they had nothing to worry about either. He did irreparable damage by not taking this investigation serious and honestly trying to find justice for OJO

My opinion only but I believe the same outcome will happen and KR will not be convicted of anything but the CW, LE, Albert family, Higgins, their friends etc, and Judge Cannone will be even more embarrassed this time around as the public eye on this case has skyrocketed. It's wild to me that the CW is trying to kick the can a second time on this and I expect it to be a massive public spectacle which in the end looks extremely poorly on the state

Instincts. Haha. That's hilarious! Too bad he didn't use those same instincts when he went drinking and then driving his police vehicle with another cop. He also shared more than his opinion! He shared confidential information from a police investigation. He acted like judge and jury within hours after arrival. And he lost his profession because of it. The public pays professional people to maintain confidentiality and impartiality. What he did was whacked! He's crazy!

According to the article and video below, MP was fired after a Trial Board found him guilty of violating MSP standards by providing sensitive information about a homicide victim, potential witnesses and investigative steps to non-law enforcement personnel, sending a derogatory, inappropriate and disparaging remarks about KR yo friends and coworkers, drinking on duty while also driving a department-issued vehicle and his biased inappropriate misconduct during the investigation.

If I recall correctly, even Judge C looked like she had the "heebie jeebies" when Proctor was on the stand in the first trial. He oozed grossness and unprofessional-ism. imo

I wholeheartedly agree with you about this! There simply is not enough evidence to convict KR based on what was brought up in Trial 1. They are having another trial because of public perception due to him being a cop. A cop that allowed his girlfriend to drive him around drunk according to the CW. And all those other cops also allowed her to drive drunk, while they were also drunk and driving. Of course tragedy was going to happen sooner or later with the way they all conducted themselves. It's sickening any way you look at it. Let's see how much they've changed as a result. So long as everyone is blaming Karen Read for this, we are not looking at them and their illegal actions.

If you think police, rescue, firemen and doctors are 100% professional 100% of the time …
I’d like to sell you a bridge

I bet it's not his first time testifying in her courtroom either! I imagine she knows him quite well as a colleague of sorts. He is such a fool to think he will ever get his cushy job back, or anything similar.
