But the Honorable Judge Cannone helped her by completely ignoring it. JMO

The laughing together at the end, very relaxed and def seemed to KNOW no problem to be had with judge over that . This is when called McCabe accidentally. The softly said as to a child, is that a lie? Did you lie? A judddddddge saying that to a defendant? Never. Needs to be gone over hard and something made of it legally. These witnesses all have changed 'stories' and are three years later adamant about it. SOO WEIRD. No conscience, none.

I agree. Moo, the hair is a complete non starter. Yes, from memory it had no root. I'm sure this was why it took such a lot of extra testing to even identify it. Jmo, but see testimony of Valier I believe, plus I haven't read it but this info may be in your link.

John could have shed it himself some time that day/evening as you say, in the normal course of events. It's also possible KR herself innocuously transferred it there at some point on Jan 29th after JO's passing. Moo

She did, afterall, lie on him in her grief and horror trying to warm him, before attempting CPR with Kerry Roberts. She could have picked up a hair on her own person, which later fell off her clothing onto the Lexus Moo

Given alternative and imo far more reasonable explanations for the hair, I find CW's push for it being unassailable evidence of an impact, just like the presence of touch DNA but with no accompanying blood or skin (zero, none, zilch) underwhelming to put it mildly. Laughable to put it less mildly. Jmo

Means absolutely NOTHING! Neither does his DNA on the car. They were dating for God's sake! They were both in and out of each other vehicles mulitiple times. It could have come from anytime. And we also know that the investigation was so lazily and horrible done, all the evidence is tainted. Ooopsie! Proctor strikes again.

I wonder.....How many Jurors notebooks have the name "Jen McCabe" circled or highlighted? They surely have to be curious already...

As in, " Who is this mystery woman who plants ideas, phrases in others?
Where is this search for how long to die in cold located?

So much reasonable doubt has been introduced, by the lying and coercion admitted on the stand from a few witnesses. IMO

I feel a bit bad for Lally now, seeing him just sat there at the CW's desk while Brennan does the job he was originally meant to do.

He's like the RG3 or Marcus Mariota of the Norfolk County DA's office. Was meant to be the star quarterback, now relegated to the bench as a career backup!

My head is going to explode trying to figure this out. Kerry Roberts first said, while they were in a police car Karen asked their friend Jennifer McCabe to Google hypothermia. Now Kerry is claiming she heard about Karen asking about hypothermia when she and McCabe were working on a timeline. In other words she did not overhear Karen ask Jennifer to Google hypothermia.
Do I have this correct? If this is true it is HUGE.

Correct! This is HUGE because prosecution witness K Roberts said this under oath to the grand jury which resulted in KR being indicted for murder! The truth is Roberts never heard this spoken from KR. She heard this from Jen McCabe when she was assembling a timeline with Jen McCabe at McCabe's house to "align their stories."

IMO, the only thing saving Roberts from a perjury charge is her statement that she misunderstood the question from the grand jury and did not lie intentionally.

Thank you Seattle 1. This is incredible.

Is " not intentionally" the same as...." I didn't mean to do it"?

Ms Roberts was slayed on the stand, for lying to the Grand Jury.

And Judge Bev sighed...
" Next witness, Mr Brennan?"

All this timeline was asked to be done by Peg, JO'K's mother. You see how she despised KR from the get go, before this. I wonder if she will be brought back to explain that she said she told her grandson about John, when it was Paul, his wife and Karen that sat down with the boy. I feel she likes to embellish in her favor. This was in the first trial testified by Paul. IMO

This means nothing -- this Motion is only another 'selective' allegation by the CW that failed!

1/31/25

Defense attorney Robert Alessi argued that Green is qualified to make claims and that he used five different tools to come to his conclusion.

“To me, it’s rather odd right off the jump that there’s no challenge to five other areas of data forensics and there’s just this challenge to one aspect of his whole testimony and opinions,” Alessi said.

The prosecution wants a special hearing with Green and an expert from the Commonwealth who can explain the science and methodology of the Google search made on McCabe’s phone.

The defense says there is no need for the special hearing because the experts agree on the methodology, but that they will testify to having a difference of opinion. They also pointed out that more than 4,000 searches were made on McCabe’s phone with only one deletion.
Incorrect information, again. moo

What, if anything, makes you say that? 😀
I'm yet to hear Judge Beverley ask Brennan to speak up like she constantly had to with Lally.

^^rsbm

In most states, perjury involves lying and deliberately making false statements after taking an oath to testify truthfully. In other words, statements must be made willfully with knowledge of their falsity to qualify as perjury and can be difficult to prosecute.

Mrs. O’Keefe (John’s mother) was an outstanding witness today, brought John to life for me. Very difficult for her to be a witness I suspect, but she’s a strong woman. No mother should have to bury their child let alone she’s had to bury two of her children. She’s had pain from the KR cult like following outside the courthouse that show her and family no mercy. She inspires me. moo

Yes you have it correct. So basically she perjured herself during grand jury testimony. I guess one woman’s perjury is another woman’s “misunderstanding” JMO

Interesting that Karen Read knew that John was out in the cold without a coat for many hours.

And the defense twisted KerR's testimony about a lie.

I was also moved by Peggy O'Keefe on the stand. She's a mother who has buried two of her children. And had to explain to, and hold up two grieving grandchildren also. I am very thankful that the defense team chose not to cross exam her testimony. They showed respect.

In saying this, I was also taken by surprise when Peggy stated loudly in court that she exclaimed loudly in the hospital corridors " WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE ?" in a menacing tone ....referring to Karen Read...who was her son's girlfriend, who was also grieving.... It just solidified to me....that there was more than likely no love lost when it came to KR and Peggy OK.

Just my two cents...
