Maybe KerR is naiive and easily manipulated.
I hope she rethinks her friendships because she doesn't need to be associated with those drunks.
JMc: "She's telling them everything. All the stuff."
Sure she was telling them everything Jen fed her.
MOO
IMO she is just a chip off the old block and I give her not one bit of credibility after the defense got through with her.

That's what it was now, I was loving to know what 'everything' was, to HER. One of course it seems is that Karen told JMc to google hyperthermia.. lie.. J covering her hos long to die in the cold I would say, J's mind works evil and quick. Stupid Kerry R. SUCKED right in. No mind of her own. Now let's see how it flies. I want that done something with, she did NOT misunderstand, DID KR tell J to google about hyperthermia. Simple. J told her KR asked her to .. so told 'everything' believing it to be true. Hopefully she now rethinks for herself the events and what she did hear and see and what JMc told her happened. IMO

The “tip that came in”
Odd isn’t it, the tipster is not on the defense witness list?

My guess, it was another one of Karen’s flunkys like TB
IMO
The tip that came in was discussed by Yannetti on a Dateline documentary and in a Vanity Fair article. The tipster gave a false name originally, then was identified, questioned and not pursued. It changed the course of the defense.

I believe the experts in this trial will prove the search was conducted at Read’s request that morning. Jen used a tab opened earlier when she had been looking up basketball scores.
Karen was asking the parametric the same thing, how long to die in the snow with no coat on…

Fear. He has a family and lives there, or did.

Isn’t Karen accused of passing material to TB that shouldn’t have been shared?
I don’t see why it’s a stretch to believe she floated this to someone and had them make the call.
It no more far fetched than the conspiracy to frame Karen lead by Jen.

Of course you can.

Getting hit by something doesn't mean you are hit by all 6000 lbs of it flush. The defense laid out the basics of their theory in the opening and I'm sure we'll hear more vs. the first trial.

The idea of dog bites on his arm - without any proof - is the stuff of fantasy.
To further the fantasy anyone who owns a dog or cat will tell you that is impossible to enter the home of a pet owner and not get some of the pets hair on you, it is even less likely you can avoid getting canine Hair and DNA on you if you are bitten and mauled by the animal and roll around on the floor after getting punched out.

The absence of canine DNA on JO makes it a virtual certainty that he never set foot in that house.

To me the most telling piece of "evidence" is that the defense has never sent his shirt for their own Canine DNA testing or asked to have a bite impression done of the dog to compare to the images. Imagine if they had and the defense found Chloe's DNA on that shirt or the teeth lined up perfectly... case closed its a conspiracy.

I can't see Yannetti putting his career on the line by getting involved with a fake tipster scenario like that.

Did KR say in her statement she dropped JOK at the Albert residence and drive off before he got to the front door or did she see John enter the house?
Also I find it very odd that the next day with ambulance, and police and Karen being sectioned and lots of yelling and screaming no doubt that no one that lived at the Albert residence came outside to investigate all that noise and drama. Why wouldn't JM knock on her brother in laws front door before EMT arrived? I have a very strong feeling JOK was inside that house that night and Karen never hit him with her car. All imo only but I think she is 100% innocent and really hope the jury can see what many of us see - there is way too much reasonable doubt.
I agree. If that had been MY sister's house, the first thing I would've done upon finding JOK wounded on the lawn, would be to call my sister. If no answer, then her husband, and then finally pound on the door. It just seems strange that JMc did none of those things immediately.

I didn't find the defense aggressive or grandstanding when they cross examined KerR. Actually, I thought they even toned it down while she was on the stand. They questioned her about two different examples of false testimony (the time when KR pointed out her cracked taillight and that Kerry told the GJ she heard Karen say something that she never in fact heard but was only told had happened by JMc.
This is otherwise known as perjury no matter how sweet you come across as a person.
IIRC, they didn't cross examine her at all during Trial 1 so it was important that they point out these discrepancies in her various testimonies IMO.
As a point of interest to me, she testified at some point that she didn't want to "point the finger" at KR, which was very sweet to hear, and at the same time, she drove Peg and John Sr to the hospital and seemed to be pointing her finger at Karen for the entire trip, to the point that John Sr asked them to give Karen a break. Later, Peg didn't even talk to Karen when she saw her at the hospital and even asked a nurse why she was there! Why wouldn't the girlfriend who found John be there? Why was Peg so bitter after a car ride with KerR?
These are exactly the nuances that need to be flushed out.
Since you've done jury service in a murder case, you could also draw on that experience to know how crucial it is to the integrity of a trial for witnesses to provide consistent, truthful testimony.

Agree, I think AJ's questioning style and tone is being exaggerated by some. In particular, some opinions I read on the thread asserting that AJ was "bullying" Kerry Roberts, that the defense is using "bullying" tactics on cross and even that both Alan Jackson and David Yanetti are just "bullies", I find totally exaggerated and hyperbolic. Do you know how he was identified after giving a false name?
It's been a while since I watched the Dateline doc or read that article. Possibly through their PI. His real name was identified. I don't have time to go back and research it.

I said that many times. I’ve owned a German Shepard that I brushed & used a shedding blade, daily - DAILY and still there was hair everywhere, all the time.

I would be impossible to wrestle with one and not get a single hair on you.
And not a spec of canine DNA on that shirt sleeve. Not possible. IMO

okay so no dog DNA on the victim. so what caused those wounds...a knife? I just have trouble with how the evidence is being analyzed...we just can't find the injuries that are consistent with being run over by a huge SUV. how did he get those injuries that don't support a vehicular homicide ? no dirt or detritus from tree branches or gravel.

even if she is stone cold guilty , you still have to show me. mOO

Why not? If he had no knowledge of it?
He didn’t have an issue using TH to leak info or their narrative

I find it odd that with all the video evidence they have on scene that morning, and so many witnesses claiming they heard KR say "I hit him, I hit him, I hit him", not once was it heard on video.

Seems stranger that Karen didn’t think he was crashing on their sofa. went there, knocked on their door before calling everyone who’s number she had so early in the morning.

But it was. From Karen’s own mouth in that clip seen by the jury. She only disputes how many times she said it
