Not to belabor the point, it appears that Judge Cannone isn’t allowing Dr Crosby to testify on behalf of the CW regarding statements that it couldn’t have been Chloe due to molds taken. That’s a big win for Read and team.

OK, so when he was clipped on the side, that's when he got the large knot above his eye and then, in addition, he got the injury on the back of his head when it hit the ground? I'm just trying to picture how this could have played out. It doesn't seem like his head hitting the ground would cause severe injury but maybe they'll say the hit on the forehead that did most of the damage. What were these people promised in return for selling their souls? proctor got fired and lost his ability to provide for his family. kerry roberts has been branded a liar and her face is appearing all over the media in different cities and states showing how she lied in order to frame Karen Read. Nuttall didn't come up smelling of roses either. judge cannone is showing her bias every day. These people are going to be linked to their dishonest actions for the rest of their lives and it's not going to be for the better in my opinion. No one will ever look at them the same way again.

I don't remember these specific texts read by this witness or any other. These today IMO, showed the frustration from JOK to parenting, to his father and to KR. He was having a frustrating day. It showed KR to be understanding and a willingness to be cooperative with him. It indicated maybe past conversations but no argument. Maybe a difference of opinion about her plumber, her water heater and if she was staying the weekend because of the snow but no argument.

Not victim blaming but to me John came across to me as controlling. She's an adult with her own home, she can handle it. What do we really know about JOKs behavior, personality and attitude in the realtionship??? I wonder what was the point of the reading of them at all. Busy work, IMO.

I agree on the texts, it showed KR trying to bolster JOK spirits despite his apparently random attack on her earlier that day, which he admitted and apologized for. A very normal albeit with clear problems relationship.

As for JOK and Jen McCabe I’ve wondered the same given her incessantly trying to reach him. My thoughts were that maybe she had her eye on him. I’m not sure it’d be a motive for a fight though, I’m thinking these ppl use the “look the other way” tactic when it comes to their relationships too.

It’s wild to me that they are even trying to get a murder 1 conviction. If she hit him and that’s a big if, I don’t think it was intentional. This is all imo but if she hit him purposely and left him to die in the cold, why did she call him 50 times leaving super hateful messages? Why at 4:30am was she raising the alarm looking for him and declaring to anyone that would listen “I hit him?” None of that makes sense for someone who committed murder. I can 100% understand why the first jury was unanimous for acquittal of the murder charges but hung on the vehicular charge. I could maybe understand she accidentally hit him, drunk and didn’t realize but there is reasonable doubt even for that for me. This case is just crazy.

I think because she was angry when she threw her SUV in reverse and punched the gas - that’s reckless. Add a bunch of booze …
I think she did exactly as she said, she clipped him, knew and drove away.
All of those phone calls she made afterwards, the one that stands out to me the most “no-one knows where you are” made 30 minutes after she left him.
Her knowing exactly where to find him on that lawn in the morning.
Trying to blame it on the plow before even setting out to look.
Any normal person would think he was sleeping on the sofa at 34 Fairview and would have knocked on the door before calling everyone & telling Kerry he was dead.
Remember by 9am her BAC dropped to just under the legal limit. She was so loaded she either didn’t remember where she left him or she lied to distance herself

She was pathetic. I think she was intentionally being difficult. She often said “can you repeat that.” I think she did it to take the thunder of the question away. ‘Question-answer is effective’. ‘Question-can you repeat that-answer’ gets diluted.

He was found lying straight out on his back according to KR. If a person was hit, and spun, wouldn't a cell phone be inclined to fly out of a hand or be dropped to the side?

I guess you are lucky to have never lived somewhere where there is police corruption. It's all over the place. It happens. Do your research. The State trooper in this case was fired because of such.
