So the data updates around 15 to 20 seconds after the event (flight climb, steps etc).

Yes - there goes the phone inside the house theory.

This is why I was wondering if the D will try to argue he dropped it outside.

Now addressing clock differences.

I'm not talking about police. I'm talking about the first people there. Karen, Kerry and Jen, and the first responders. No one noticed a disturbance in the snow leading to and away from the body, which would have been noticeable after such a short space of time, if there were any. According to the defence that would be after snow plow guy went past. Tracks still show indentations, where the snow is falling on different levels beneath.
Maybe JOK was carried from inside the house to the Ford Edge in the garage, then driven to the front of the house, and finally positioned on the ground quickly. Very little snow disturbance will be noticed that close to the road, what with growing and changing snowbanks.

Now we have a clock that can't be trusted.

All I can think of is the Woody Allen quote, "This trial is a travesty. It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of two mockeries of a sham."

He never entered the house<modsnip - personalizing>
There’s been zero evidence presented he was carried anywhere.

<modsnip>What about the evidence of him walking upstairs? Do we believe phone data or do we not? If we don't, then we don't believe anything the current testifying expert is saying about Jen's phone searches either. You can't have it both ways...

I believe that cross exam of Mr Whiffin will not be today, and I also believe cross will be from Robert Alessi. ( He has been the voice on objections).

If you're an expert from simply taking a 3 week course in something, I'm an expert on a whole lot I know basically nothing about.

Using all available data - this witness just proved John was in the car at the time “stairs” were recorded.
Using Waze, topography map, etc.

Are you watching the trial?
That was just covered.
Tragically, I am watching it. Like a bad car accident you cannot look away from.
O'Keefe's Apple Health data indicates he took 80 steps and climbed three flights of stairs.<modsnip - personalizing>

The apple data is the least accurate - ALL the other data shows he was in the car and the car was moving

I'd love to see "all the other data". The apple health data + scratches on arm + lack of any injuries from getting hit by a car (...i have personally been hit by a vehicle as a pedestrian at about the same speed karen was suggested to have been going, and the damage to both myself and vehicle were substantial) seals the deal for me. I know what a car hitting someone looks like. It ain't a black eye and scratches on your arm while you die on a lawn of hypothermia with a warm house feet away, and nobody hears you scream or yell or anything. <modsnip: Opinion stated as fact>

John's phone battery temp dropped 5 degrees F between times 00.22 and 00.37, and a further 6 degrees F between times 00.37 and 00.45. And it kept on dropping after that.

Every “accident” is different -
I’m sorry you were hit and injured.

John was hit and left to die

IMO

I can't believe Lally and his team missed this
