Now, as for your suggestion that this is some grand conspiracy, I say again: Why would ARCCA, a firm known for working on high-profile federal cases, risk their entire reputation over Karen Read? They have no motive to jeopardize their standing in the forensic community for this one case. The idea that they’re suddenly breaking all the rules for this is pure speculation with no evidence to back it up. Their professional credibility is far too valuable to throw away for any one trial.

So unless you have actual evidence to support this wild theory, it sounds like you’re trying to spin a conspiracy out of thin air to distract from the facts at hand.

This attempt to trash ARCCA's reputation and credibility is way out of line, heck it is just astounding. They are here because Brennan speculated in a motion that was then granted by the court.

Cannone is allowing Brennan to examine them in this manner unchecked. I think the way Brennan is handling this is completely uncalled for. This hearing is public. What right and on what basis is the CW allowed to do this to a defendant's expert witnesses. Jmo

He testified (his opinion based on digital forensic data analysis) google searches happened at 6:23 am and 6:24 am.


In addition, Mr. Whiffin testified that he believes a car passed by the driveway and stopped by flagpole.

Clearly ARCCA is not independent and it should be disclosed. They are fan boys of the defense - follow the money.

Matter of opinion

I think people should look at ARCCA's very impressive reputation and how it has worked a lot with the FBI on many investigations. Like the FBI, they are experts in their field. Why should anyone bash them. They have helped solve many important incidents, like the TWA 800 crash. GO BIG OR GO HOME- this is why the defense wanted them!! who wouldn't!

I REALLY don't like this slimmy badgering of this witness by brennan. He's the definition of a slimbag lawyer in my opinion. He's sounds like a little spoiled brat that didn't get his binky. This judge is letting this happen which makes my believe 1000% that she has no desire what-so-ever in giving Karen Read a fair trial. She is just as horrible as he is. I really wish the jury was there to see it.

And of course the anti-Read crowd pitched a holy fit when Jackson was going after witnesses that lied but they are perfectly fine with the way brennan acted with this witness and he hasn't lied.

Guess they don't know the definition of hypocrisy.

ETA I hope the court satisfied with its role in generating a conspiracy for the masses. A court which is supposedly meant to be a place where motions are heard and voir dires are conducted on the basis of facts and evidence, not innuendo, rumour and the personal suspicions of Attorneys.

I just listened to an hour or so in the car so I could not read body language but boy oh boy so much snark coming from Hank and others but no real substance as far as I could tell.
Unfortunately for the P, imo these ARRCA guys are not the same type of people they are - it does not appear that underhanded and dishonest is their MO.
