Because they are saying JOKs DNA was found on the vehicle...so the vehicle MUST have hit him. Unless one of the RSCs dripped on the vehicle.

We know JoK was driven by KR that night, he would have regularly been in the car, he was on the passenger side, finding is his DNA on the car IMHO, is expected and not a sign of guilt.
(Not sure about this, but I remember hearing previously (ie before this trial) that cops have a habit of touching the rear of cars.) Why Do Policemen Touch Your Tail Light When They Pull You Over? if it is habit of cops maybe JOK still followed that old habit)

So Officer Gallagher,
According to USA Today
Hours after O’Keefe was found, Kevin O’Hara, a lieutenant with the Massachusetts State Police and search and rescue coordinator for the state, arrived on the scene to search for evidence. O’Hara said his team sifted through the snow slowly and methodically using rakes, brooms, shovels and head lamps. Less than half an hour after the search began, the team found a piece of broken taillight

T
he article goes on to state that the team found more pieces of the taillight while searching
However, to be fair, they arrived to the scene that had not been secured all day long since Okeefes body was discovered. To reiterate, the property itself, was unattended for hours that day.

So far, I believe the jury is patiently ( or impatiently) waiting for the "What happened to JOK?" answers. How was he murdered by the vehicle driven by KR? Also, the "Where and who in the world is this Michael Proctor dude?" More importantly, " What's with the dog questions?"

The CW has painted an ugly picture so far of KR, no doubt. But where is the proof man? Bring it !!

Speaking of BRD.
The conflicted out Canton PD. ( Due to Kevin Albert/CPD being the brother of Brian Albert, the homeowner (per CPD officials)

The very same conflicted out CPD, sent officers to the search...
Had KEVIN ALBERT himself assist with arranging witness interviews...
Allowed and kept the alleged murder weapon at the CPD Sallyport for 3 days....

ummm....just how 'conflicted out' were they?
Thank you for posting this! Yes, they don’t have jurisdiction when it comes to photos of KR’s car in the sally port according to Gallagher, but they have people at the search. Makes no sense.

And he makes so much money a year. 330,000+
I hope they have on line applications.
I just need sterile paper bags to appear more qualified .
And they are not allowed to do their own work. As a protocol.
I bet the whole jury feels high and like they are in a weird world.
I’m just catching up on todays thread…

HOW MUCH?!

shotgun09,

Partly Dale Carnegie sandwich, good/bad/good and partly that people mostly focus on start, then the end and get lost in the middle.
  • I hit him from multiple witnesses is their strong start.
  • Canton PD they are hiding in the middle.
  • Strong finish with accident experts about KR hitting him
I think prosecution have done a good job with the crappy hand Canton PD gave them, still reasonable doubt but I'm still not buying the incident in the house conspiracy, it is just an solvable mess thanks to the Canton PD.

I cant make it sincere enough, I hate saying it.

Respectfully, this is not actual evidence or testimony in the second trial. And it is confusing to those attempting to follow evidence presented in the trial by the prosecution and defense. And it creates difficulties in attempts to examine the evidence given to the jury for evidence on the record and consideration in their deliberations during the trial. MOO

I was stunned, does not seem 'normal' pay for his position, not even close. IMO
No, it sounds absolutely insane. I wasn’t impressed and at that salary he should be factual and impeccable both in his duties AND on the stand… I know MA is a high COL (I’m right below in CT) but come on. This is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard in a while.

A poster many pages back asked if Gallagher testified in the first trial.

No, he didn't.

ETA. And I'm glad they brought him on this time, reflecting the gross incompetence of the police handling, chain of custody etc.

So far the jury does not have any safe evidence from prosecution case to prove there is reasonable doubt.

IMO
Gallagher did testify during KR's first trial.
What was a first is that he was interviewed before this trial, something that Proctor did not do with Gallagher before the first trial.

"Day 5 – May 3, 2024 Lieutenant Paul Gallagher with the Canton Police Department was the ranking officer on scene at 34 Fairview, in charge of the processing, securing, and collecting evidence. He was at the scene for about 45 minutes after his arrival at 7 AM. He then returned to the Albert home around 9AM to accompany Sergeant Lank on his interview of Jen McCabe. After the case had very quickly been turned over to the Massachusetts State Police (MSP), lead detective Trooper Proctor never interviewed Lt. Gallagher about what he did in this case. He was only interviewed for the FIRST time just weeks before the beginning of this trial by the District Attorney’s Office. "

A question I have had for ages: is it normal in the US or Boston or Canton to take glasses home from bars?

That is a great question, and then why take with you when you get out of the car. Was he concerned that the Albert's had no glasses? If he hadn't finished, so took it with him to finish, surely he would have finished in the car. Why not leave it in the car?
I didn't see the image, but I presume he had it in his hands when he left, but surely it gets put down on the drive.

Karen said he took hers as well.

I can’t speak for Canton specifically, but in the US in general, no; it’s not normal. People will joke about taking items from restaurants that they like, but it’s technically theft. The only exception is that occasionally bars and breweries will have commemorative glasses - usually that go along with a specific drink special. Buy a $25 piña colada, get a ‘free’ pineapple glass. But the glass John had was plain. It’s also a violation of open container law if it had any liquor in it, which I’m sure John would have known. I can imagine someone walking out with a drink from a busy bar when drunk, but it was interesting to hear that the investigating police never checked if the Albert home had any similar glasses. All only in my lived experience.
