Glad we can agree on the facts. To be clear, the FBI did not hire ARCCA, the U.S. Attorney's Office (fed govt) did.
Have a wonderful evening.
The FBI is the US Attorney's law enforcement arm. I thought everyone understood that but I guess people not from the US might not understand the structure.

Anyone know if the Albert's backyard was fenced in?
Yes, it was surrounded by a stockade fence, maybe 6ft tall, with a gate just to the left of the home, directly adjacent to where KR's car was parked.

All that wasn't on the video the poster linked.
Are you even a human being if you haven't accidentally flipped someone the bird when you were so bored you needed to use your hand to physically prop your head up from smacking the table in front of you?

Or is that just me? 🙃

There were three passengers in the car. He basically said since he had already intervewed the driver Ryan Nagel, he had no burning need to interview the other two. So he waited what 15 months?
Just let that sink in.
Three eye witnessess in a car behind Karen's at 34 Fairview during the time John went "missing".
But he was following the evidence lol.
This was the most disturbing thing I heard all day (and that’s saying something). I can’t even find the words to describe it. Does he not understand the word “investigate”?

There was no confusion. YB was being deliberately obtuse the entire cross. JMO
He used the word theory and then when Alan said it, he asked to see a dictionary to know what it meant. Hahaha. He said English was his third language. It was so bizarre! Another backfire for his pompous-ness.

I bet he meant pig latin and t9 texting.

This is such a strange thing that some are arguing over. The “federal government” hired AARCA, “not the FBI”?? What?? The FBI is *part of the federal government*. Hence the F in FBI that stands for…. FEDERAL.

The defense had no idea who AARCA was or that anyone had hired them or why. The reports came out and were available to both sides. One would think an independent investigation paid for by the federal government would carry some weight with the prosecution, but I guess only if the conclusions fit their desired narrative. Wild, really.

It was covered during the talking heads Judge Ashley and her guest. Court TV showed a clip of Karen’s hand touching the side and her fingers being blurred. I tend to believe that it will be replayed numerous times tonight.

Exactly!! But why would he “investigate” further when they had their minds made up and evidence being, errrr, “discovered” that fit their “theory”.

Likely Ukrainian, possibly Russian, and then English.

Agreed. The thing is, he came here when he was 9. I’m Canadian born but only spoke Greek for the first 5 years of my life because my parents and grandparents spoke Greek. I learned English from Kindergarten on and even with 6 painful years of Greek school, I lost the ability to speak it when I was in my early 20s. He’s full of it.

Agree. His family came over from the Ukraine when he was young though. He attended Stoughton schools, so I suspect his "English is foreign to me" schtick was just that. A schtick.

Yes, he is full of it for sure!

That was wild. I also note he said "She 'I hit him' or maybe 'Did I hit him?'" as his reason for not investigating the case.

"Did I hit him?" Hmmm. Yes, Yuri, I think that's probably more like it. Thanks for clarifying.

If he needs to give evidence through a translator I'm sure that Norfolk County can accommodate his needs so that he can give his best evidence to the jury?

It will be interesting to see if he suffers any further consequences from his employer for his evasive conduct on the stand. He is representing the MSP after all. He obviously carries around resentment for Michael Proctor having lost his job, maybe some guilt underneath since he is likely more involved in what Proctor did than has been brought to light. He wants the world to know that he, and his co-workers, did a thorough investigation. But AJ is proving that they surely didn't. So where does this leave the reputation of the MSP when all is said and done. The MSP has to win back the trust of the people. Seeing clowns like YB, after just getting through with the clown MP last year, is not a good look for the MSP.

He won't; it's next to impossible to get rid of these guys because of the specifics of their union contract. Best case he's assigned to a lower profile unit or out of any sort of supervisory role.

Which tells us just how the head of the state police viewed Proctor (not that he didn't drag his feet).

Any bets on how often Jackson will use word "biased" from the press release about his firing? It would be slightly out of context (the wording was that he "created the image he was biased") but I think that word will stick with the jury. How could it not after what we've seen so far?

There was no probable cause to search 34F, nonetheless LE did enter the house. It's your right to ensure the privacy of your property, your home. jmo

Fourth Amendment - an amendment to the U.S. Constitution and a part of the Bill of Rights
Its goal is to protect people against unreasonable searches and seizures.

The LE that I have seen that have covered this case, including FBI, disagree with this statement. A dead man on the lawn is probable cause.

All they had to do is ask nicely if the homeowners would allow a search.

And if Brian Albert refused to let them search, whoops, there's your probable cause right there.
