There's also video of him at McDonalds. His appearance and his clothing will, IMO, influence the jury's decision.

you couldent possbly convicted him on that as theres abslutly no evdence its him in the video the killers face isnt shown
I don't see the judge throwing this case out for lack of evidence.

without the bag, all they have is he was in the same city as they victem looked a bit suspicious in a McDonald's, had a drink of water in a park, and his coat looks a bit similar to the shooter's coat not really evidence that could convict someone beyond a reasonable doubt

State prosecutors are trying to get their case against Luigi Mangione to go to trial first, after a federal judge set a trial date for late 2026 or early 2027.The state is asking for a July 1, 2026 trial.
Karen Friedman Agnifilo says a July 1 state trial is "unrealistic."

Hope they succeed because state charges aren't eligible for pardon.

he would be unlikely to get a pardon anyway

...without the bag, all they have is...

We the public have no idea what evidence they have. Authorities never reveal it all before the trial. IMO.

ive seen no evidence for that if they were holding back evedence they wouldent of mentioned alll the alleged evidence that they mentioned

Thanks for posting, @sds71 .
You beat me to it ! 😊

Here's the Daily Mail take on it :

Mark Anderson, 36, was charged on Thursday with impersonating an FBI agent as he allegedly tried to help Mangione, 27, out of the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

So, this Mark Anderson thought he'd just waltz in there and walk LM out ?
Bwa hahahaha !
Even in a lesser or unknown prisoner's case, that wouldn't be easy.
But in a high profile murder the prison may have LM isolated from the gen. pop., so ....
Omo.

I especially love that he came armed with a barbecue fork and a pizza cutter. 😂

He must have thought a pizza cutter was the way to bond with Luigi 🤮

Just two buddies, sharing a slice.

Half-joking but only half.

Can't believe this is the top story on NBC Nightly News. Of all the things going on in the world. Guy with pizza cutter trying to get LM out of jail is the lead story.

He was doomed to fail...I think...I hope....

It's one of those "weird news" stories to me.....MOO
