There's also video of him at McDonalds. His appearance and his clothing will, IMO, influence the jury's decision.
I don't see the judge throwing this case out for lack of evidence.you couldent possbly convicted him on that as theres abslutly no evdence its him in the video the killers face isnt shown
Neither do I.I don't see the judge throwing this case out for lack of evidence.
Hope they succeed because state charges aren't eligible for pardon.State prosecutors are trying to get their case against Luigi Mangione to go to trial first, after a federal judge set a trial date for late 2026 or early 2027.The state is asking for a July 1, 2026 trial.
Karen Friedman Agnifilo says a July 1 state trial is "unrealistic."
...without the bag, all they have is...
I especially love that he came armed with a barbecue fork and a pizza cutter. Thanks for posting, @sds71 .
You beat me to it !
Here's the Daily Mail take on it :

So, this Mark Anderson thought he'd just waltz in there and walk LM out ?
Bwa hahahaha !
Even in a lesser or unknown prisoner's case, that wouldn't be easy.
But in a high profile murder the prison may have LM isolated from the gen. pop., so ....
Omo.
Feds arrested a man who showed up last night to MDC Brooklyn claiming to be an FBI agent with a court order to release a prisoner.According to a law enforcement source, that prisoner was Luigi Mangione.
He must have thought a pizza cutter was the way to bond with LuigiI especially love that he came armed with a barbecue fork and a pizza cutter.![]()
Can't believe this is the top story on NBC Nightly News. Of all the things going on in the world. Guy with pizza cutter trying to get LM out of jail is the lead story.Feds arrested a man who showed up last night to MDC Brooklyn claiming to be an FBI agent with a court order to release a prisoner.According to a law enforcement source, that prisoner was Luigi Mangione.
Oh he's exactly the type this administration loves. I wouldn't bet on that!he would be unlikely to get a pardon anyway
When asked to show some federal agent identification, he presented his own Minnesota State driver's license. And then threw a bunch of unrelated, typed paperwork at them. Can't believe this is the top story on NBC Nightly News. Of all the things going on in the world. He was doomed to fail...I think...I hope....
It's one of those "weird news" stories to me.....MOO

They said he came from his home in MN to NY for a job that apparently didn't work out. In MN, he had been working delivering pizzas.
