These texts are PAIN!! Soooooooo cringe!! My goodness what the jury must think about these. We know the context from the 1st trial but these folks don't. I'd want a parachute by now and would seriously be considering coming down with an illness of some kind!!! " Jane stop this crazy thing!!!!

Haven't we heard more than enough to know they were flirty texts.

Yesssss….The way we use the word ‘cringe’ nowadays was made for this, omg.

Have we seen these exact texts before? I remember hearing some just don’t remember some of these. But it’s easy to tune them out, as I’ve been doing right now..

I'm laughing because YB is so into it, the voice, the inflections in tone, he's reverted back to high school drama class lol.
But, by golly, he just wasn't sure if the texts were flirtatious or not.
He does now :P

I don’t think having him read all these messages is productive. There’s too many

I wasn’t able to watch yesterday, so I’m catching up on the trooper’s cross by Jackson right now. I can see lots of discussion happened here! Can’t wait to catch up on everyone’s thoughts.
I just can’t get over this officer’s attitude.

The jurors are probably thinking "WHY????"
This is cruel and unusual punishment for everyone at this point.
Make it stop...
IMO.

This conversation is so juvenile and odd.
This guy Brian Higgins is such an idiot! He calls her Babe, and replies with a zillion LOLs like a juvenile, and "don't get your thong...", always telling her she's sensitive when she asks normal questions.

I don't know what she would see in Brian Higgins. He's a big-time drinker too. A lush. Does nothing but go to bars to drink. A big EWWWWWW.

MOO

Shouldn't they have Higgins read these when he is up? What's the context that they have Goofus reading it, maybe I'm not remembering something from the first trial and something will relate to the MSP and YB

Court TV is reporting that the jurors are laughing and smirking during this whole text thing.
What a mess.
IMO.

Unfortunately there is no other way to get those texts in if the CW doesn't call Higgins. This is a tactic by brennan. A small victory after the absolute disaster that bukhenik presented.

I don't think the CW will be calling Higgins this time around, but I'd bet the Defense does.
Anyway, I think I remember BH having to read them our loud in T1, only because it was cringey then, too.
Please correct if I'm mistaken.
Also... ARE WE DONE YET?
IMO.

It makes zero sense to me that a bunch of people, drunk or otherwise, beats a man to death in a basement, and then, instead of trying to hide the body or drive it a long way off and dump it in the woods, decide to carry it outside and dump it in the front yard for all to see.
It makes no sense either that the brainiacs in the house were thinking, “ oh, KR dropped him off there, let’s toss him in that spot so people will think she hit him”.
That is all absurd.
KR is probably going to be found not guilty because Massachusetts LE apparently is a joke, but she’s not innocent. Similar to jury nullification, she will walk to send a message to Massachusetts’ LE.
How badly that must make JOK’s family feel. He’s been pretty

The text messages are not relevant, thus far. And the defense feel this is relevant.. More dragging out the trial. moo

The text message by the defendant are hurtful to the minor children. jmo
