Yes, sadly you are correct. I think the Birchmore case was remarkably relevant. IMO, hearing about Sandra Birchmore would have pushed most of the jurors over the top - local LE would have been exposed for what they are.

He said no and then started saying that they talked/or spoke to one another but he was cut off by the defense attorney from saying more. I got the impression the D lawyer didn't want him saying that because he wanted the jury to think KR was totally ignoring him. That's JMO

I’m just finishing up YB’s cross from yesterday. It’s been an incredibly frustrating watch. YB has been bobbing and weaving all over the plaice. He’s rude, evasive, and unprofessional. I’m embarrassed he’s a Mass State Trooper in a supervisory role. His arrogance is off-putting.
I’ve been concerned that a few of the defense’s wins on cross have relied heavily on some understanding of technology, which may be too dry for folks to follow. I know my mind would start wandering and I’d miss some testimony.
YB’s behavior on the stand has been a big win for the defense because his behavior and past actions are easy to see and understand. So far, he’s been the best witness for the defense! MOO. ETA: moo.

Thank you for clarifying what you meant. I just watched YB’s testimony about the Waterfall. Jackson only brought up KR when asking YB to identify folks in the video. In the snippets of the video he showed, at no time did KR and BH interact. There was a lot of roughhousing between BA and BH.

I don't want to go back and listen to all of that again haha I did go back and look yesterday to his direct testimony when they showed clips from the bar but no clips from around the time he texted her or within minutes. I get the impression that she completely ignored BH at the bar... so...he texted her.

He walked away from BA and CA (who were close to the door) and towards the bar (where JOK and KR were) and started using hand gestures toward the bar. JOK was seemingly looking in BH’s direction. Also, why would BH text John to ask if he was coming to 34 Fairview. I’ve not seen anything that would lead me to believe they were close. They seemed like acquaintances, so why would Higgins check to see if JOK was going to be at BA’s home? Moo. ETA: fix grammar.

I don't know how close they were, but BH had been to JO's house on occasion.

What was it all together 6 times he looked her way. She wouldnt respond to him. She wouldn't make eye contact with him. And she wouldn't look at her phone when he texted....it was peeing him off.
