Yes, had to correct myself. They did not drive to NY with BH, but he drove them back. So much detail in this case, how do jurors remember everything!!
Thanks because I didn't know who did or didn't drive to NYC with BH.

That was an incredible admission by the ME! Brennan couldn't object fast enough!
So even the ME knew there was a party that night, and that John was walking toward the party, and had an altercation, and yet LE and CW has never ever mentioned that at trial. I hope the jury heard her!
they definitely heard it.. and you cannot unring that bell. I wish she had been able to complete her answer because it was part of her consideration for not adding a manner of death. IMO

I don't think it was mentioned who drove to NYC with BH, but only who drove back to Canton with him.

At what point did KA get dropped off!
I was only aware of BA driving back with him and just found out from his testimony KA and H also did.
I don't remember Alessi asking about anyone but BA and very well may have missed it.

There is already so much reasonable doubt in this trial to date, it's hard to imagine the jury convicting Karen Read at this point. But the main reason for me is If it cannot be proven that she hit him with her car, it has to come back NG. Their own ME couldn't determine any more evidence pointing to a homicide over an accident, even if there was 3rd party involvement. And their own ME did not see injuries consistent with a car collision. If a ME can't determine the manner of death, then who can!

Thanks! I don't always feel it haha I am really trying to stay away from all the outside noise. I don't care about the documentaries or news clips/stories. I haven't even gone completely down the Alberts/McCabe/party goers hole lol

We have more then enough information in the testimony to discuss and go over. This is a "Trial" thread afterall ;)

Whoever keeps posting the LYK videos, thank you!!!! (sorry I can't remember who it is lol) I really enjoy listening to him at the end of the day as he goes through the testimony and gives his take.
Quite a few of us post him but I will take credit for getting him as an approved source @WS last August.
He's my go-to guy too.

Karens behaviour when they found John...

I don't think we know how we are going to handle something like that... we may think we would be calm or coherent, but until it happens, no one knows.

A few years ago, my Dad passed at home in his sleep. My daughter lives with them and they live down the street. She called me, screaming, incoherently, and all I got out of the convo was that he was gone.. she hung up on me. I got there within minutes... but her or my Mom didn't even call 911 yet! I called 911 and I thought I was being all calm and collective.. they asked me for the address.. I gave them mine and not their address LOL There is more ridiculous things that happened that night and it's funny now... and we laugh about it... but no one has any idea how they are going to handle a situation unless and until they are in it. all JMO

Running around to you and me must mean different things. So, we agree to disagree.

The woman found her partner of 2 years, incapacitated and near death. I cannot imagine what I would say in these circumstances but, I’m sure it wouldn’t be logical.

You have your opinion, I have mine. Facts are, the CW’s own witness, the ME, said his injuries were not consistent with a vehicle/pedestrian strike. The accident reconstruction team hired by the FBI stated he was not hit by a vehicle. My own experience being the first or second person on the scene of a vehicle/pedestrian strike 5 times in my life (and rendering first aid) tells me he was not hit by a vehicle.
Fact is - the ME admitted the knee injury could have been caused by a swipe or clip from a vehicle.

I would lose my mind, but hopefully I would not be with a JMc or that ilk. Ya, I would lose my mind I am sure. I'm glad you all can laugh though. The upset and stress and unexpectedness.. awful. BUT, in his sleep, but the suddeness. You're a good bunch!

Yes JMc who spent the entire night fawning all over JOK at the Waterfall as you can see in the video, all lovey-dovey to her best friend, until he became just a man in the snow a few hours later, and she became the official mouthpiece.

Something else from the ME's testimony that I haven't been able to do any research about but...

Alessi had her look at and agree that there was a J near the head wound. There has gotta be a reason he asked that.

I have googled, and I did find the picture but I am unsure if I can or should post. There is a clearly a J not far from the wound.

Very unsettling to see the vids from Waterfall and then the next morning as she was talking to one of the CPD. IMO

I’d love to know where the ME got that info from.

I’m sorry for your loss.

Last summer I was a live in caregiver for a friend who had terminal cancer. Even though I knew at some point I would either find him dead or that I’d have to call 911 because he needed help, when I called 911 because he was having trouble breathing I was in full panic mode. I had planned to be calm and cool but it was 430 in the morning and I hadn’t slept. When things like that happen you just don’t know how you will react. Your heart is racing and your mind is racing and you’re trying to be calm and coherent while you’re also answering questions. To me she reacted normally. She also had a lot of booze in her system and she knew he wouldn’t leave his niece at home alone.

It was from the ER doctor.

ETA: I want to know where the doctor got the info from.

thank you and sorry for you loss too! 🥰

Even a few years out.. it seems surreal and it wasn't even the same type of circumstance. Some of us are just animated, some are able to stay cool and collective.

Or not a swipe or clip…
