I hold Brennan responsible for this witness's public exposure. He just carelessly and incompetently used him. Brennan is suffering from a tunnel vision and self absorbtion on a par with Proctor's obsession with nailing 'the girl'. Imo this debacle shows he has been blinded by visions of short term gain at the cost of (almost immediate) future consequences. Not a very good trial strategy imo.

There just isn't a case to prosecute against Kare Read. Brennan knows it imo, which is why his strategy, whatever he tries, is failing. The defense have sincerity and truth on their side ( and they are also damn good lawyers). Jmo

As a long time trial watcher... this is just next level LOL We always want an attorney to rip apart certain experts (whether for the defense or prosecution), but it's never turned out like this.

I did not think it could get much worse for the cw - boy was I wrong- rock bottom - its your damn expert Brennan - how do you rehab this?
Are you gonna to scream at him "Did you know when you wrote that report that Jen McCabe said KR said "I hit him I hit him"?
And Brennan told the court that this expert needed to revise bc of an error in a report given to them by the defense - Has Brennan not met Alessi - Brennan did not think this would all come out ?
I would ask that they let the guy off the stand - I'm actually worried about his mental health after this
episode with thousands watching - how is he going to make a living?

He got desperate and sloppy, pulled an ambush to cover for how bad the case was going and is getting completely humiliated here.

Alessi points out that there is NO scientific literature on the testing Burgess did on Karen’s Lexus. His methodology is not peer reviewed or sound. And his report literally wasn’t reviewed by anyone before it went to the courts. What a waste of taxpayer money, MOO
