Burgess is playing word games with Alessi. He says there weren’t changes from his original report to the new report, only ‘clarifications’.

Burgess didn’t mention ‘tech steam report’ or ‘COLLISION’ in his original report. Just the new one that was submitted last week.

So once again Alessi asks the jury without asking them: Is the CW and their witnesses liars, or incredibly sloppy? It’s one or the other. MOO

I actually felt bad for Trooper Paul.
I don't have much sympathy for Burgess.
He chose to lie and ran with it, for money, for fame, who knows. But that was his choice.
This is FAFO in real time.
IMO.

After listening to him sit up there and continue to lie - I am back in your camp - my empathy has flown out the window - Has been totally busted as has Brennan on their underhanded BS.

Very sad as you all say -BIG STUFF - submitting info to put KR in jail , refusing insurance claims -
does he have no shame ? No ethics or integrity?

Am I the only one puzzled by this witness Burgess testimony just then, trying to concede that the ‘supplemental’ report was done by his own initiative and not per a request, per se, of the CW Brennan? And that the introductory statement was apparently in error or a miscopy? SMH.

If that is so, I am somewhat confused by that. And maybe the genesis for this entire update / supplement report needs to be further investigated. IMO. IANAL. MOO

This very much has the feeling of Burgess deciding to not take the fall alone, he's taking Brennan with him. Which, in his position, is very understandable. I wouldn't take one for the team, either, if I knew that my career was already over.

Yes. He said he copy and pasted parts of the report and the part that basically said ‘As you asked me to, Hank Brennan…’ was part of the OLD report. So, sloppy or liars? My mantra for T2.
