The disgraced CW expert just testified today that she didn't hit him.
Yep. All this brouhaha is for a reversal event. There is NO collision event. The same TSE trigger could go off if someone brakes hard, drives usually, etc. Alessi asked today if there were multiple ways a TSE could be triggered, and Burgess said yes.

You’re forgetting the taillight pieces
Imo
Which ones? The ones that were found not to fit into Karen’s tail light post-reconstruction as per Ashley Vallier?

The 47 pieces that Officer Barros from the Dighton police testified weren't missing from the taillight he saw before Michael Proctor got his hands on the vehicle? Only a minor crack he said. With no reason to lie.

The same 47 pieces that the Canton PD using a blower in the same exact area with only a few inches of snow on the ground that morning didn't see?

Bad cops really do plant evidence sometimes. And it's the only logical conclusion here when you consider all of the above and the fact that JO was not hit by any vehicle.

His credibility will be judged by the jury - I would suspect they’ll view it in context of other witnesses and their conclusions.
The evidence Karen hit him is overwhelming.

IMO
There is no evidence at all that she hit him and especially after today. 😃

“Planted glass”
What evidence is there anything was planted, let alone glass that doesn’t match?
I'm assuming the glass on the bumper that traveled 60 miles in the storm and was still there. I can't think of anything else that could make that trip to be analyzed, can you??

Can someone please explain to me how a man who had been lying dead on a lawn for over 5 hours during a freezing blizzard had a body temperature of 80.1F when he arrived at the hospital?

Answer: he was put outside during the 5:07am phone call between Jen and Nicole. IMO

The ME acknowledged that in that weather, he’d have frostbite within 30-60 minutes. And he had none.

Yes, I assume the ice & snow kept it in place
IIRC the prices were incredibly tiny

He didn’t died immediately- he died a slow death as his brain swelled and ceased functioning
IMO

But they couldn't prove he had frostbite. 5 hours in the snow and nothing?

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for the jury to think the Defense Attorney is harping on the resume instead of the data.
I think they biggest thing they will remember is that the witness is a liar. I think even first graders would know that. If you lie on a CV for money, then you will lie on anything for money. That's what they will see. Moo

Wasn't KR's car in the garage at Meadows?
If so, how would there be ice and snow on it?
IMO.

I don't know what happened but please calm down. I have been removing posts with old information, posts that appear to be sarcastic, posts that appear to be only posted to annoy others.
Come on...you all know better.

Yep. Being proven a liar not only on cross, but on re-cross, over two days, will stick in the jury's minds more than time drifts or whatever it was.
IMO.

How come no one is taking about KAREN CLIPS?
- she’s the only living witness.

Imo
I'll bite since you're here this week, cause they do not matter. Trial watchers, has there been any trial where you have seen the defendent been exposed like this and has had her right to not testify trampled. Although HB might have been further ahead in this case if he had played all of her clips and saved the jury's time so that the defense could tell the TRUTH.

I think it would be more believable if she woke up saying “did John pass out on BA’s couch?” or “Did he get a ride with another party goer and they got in an accident since they were sloshed?” But to wake up thinking she hit him with her car…and then he’s found dead at the side of the road? Very fishy to me.
Not necessarily, snowplow fatalities in that state and surrounding states is huge! I posted a link a week back or so. Google it and you will see. KR even stated Did a plow hit him? in an interview.

I know, right? Once you get beyond the whole lying on CV, and then there's the pesky bits vs. bytes, and then the slides had the wrong dates to which he stated multiple times were accurate--there's still more errors and misrepresentations. This guy's work was sloppy. I'm blown away that anyone thinks he is a credible expert.
I still ask, cause he lost me along time ago, is it still a difference of 8 seconds???????

Possible. She definitely got lost on the way.

As she didn't know the way, I suspect she put in John's address in Waze to get there after she dropped him off.

No traffic at that time so Waze would have sent her the shortest route, towards Chapman Street (the other routes are at least a minute or more longer).

She was facing the direction of Chapman at 34 Fairview, as confirmed by the 3 witnesses in the Nagel vehicle. Which means there was no reason to do a three point turn at that point and had she turned around, it would have taken her even longer to get to 1 Meadows. I'm local, but Google maps can confirm.
But, the point I was making is that she made a 3-point turn JUST MOMENTS BEFORE she arrived at 34 Fairview. If the car's computer says she made a 3-point turn, then that could be the turn Burgess referred to in his report.

Then he could have been saved??? We, including his family, will never know because he got no immediate help from those who attacked him
