Wasn’t that what voir dire was about this morning? Hank didn’t want it discussed. He said it’s irrelevant because trooper Paul isn’t a witness in T2… even though Welcher basically recycled major parts of Paul’s report.

I don't see how JBC can exclude crossing about that when Welcher himself testified about 1162 being the key cycle when the "collision" occurred.

It’s shocking to me as well. If Trooper Paul swore on the 1164 cycle being his, and Welcher used much of Trooper Paul’s test report, how is it not relevant? More sneakiness from Brennan IMO. Tie the defense’s hands behind their back and pray for a ‘win’.

I really don't understand why they couldn't ask Welcher how HE determined that 1162 was from Jan 29th. Or did he just take Burgess' word for it?

Maybe I missed it in his direct how he determind it?

It is so obvious that without Judge Cannone, Brennan would be denied routinely - she does not even listen to Alessi - she just goes with Brennan. Make no mistake, those two are a team. jmo

Hank can try to plant seeds about Signal all he wants. The reality is ARCCA had nothing to hide, and did not do anything wrong by using Signal. Even judge Cannone found this to be true. Just mud slinging. Dr. Wolfe handled Hank incredibly well in his voir dire, and I imagine he will handle him just as well on cross. MOO

I think that's right. Judge cannone failed to pronounce "I'll allow it". Judicial 'discretion' apparently? And cannone extended her magnimous negative discretion to the full contents of ME's report too. She didn't allow that either IIUC. Jmo
