Curious if the defense's expert mechanical engineer will claim that JMc deleted text/phone messages. Of course she did not! But, that's been defense's song and dance. Very sorry they have targeted JMc, all she did was try to help that fateful day.

Keep in mind that witness intimidation is a part of this case, even though it hasn't been mentioned in trial; and I suspect Lucky man (not so lucky) possibly threatened. I recently re-reviewed Lucky's testimony from trial one and he's not credible, imo.

My own opinion.
Did JM not lie to the FBI? She admitted that she did. Once a liar always a liar. Anything that comes out of her mouth is not believable. And the defense did a great job of discrediting her!!! Moo

LOL anyone for the defense isn't credible and anyone for the CW does no wrong. We all understand. Funny to say she didn't delete messages like it's a fact but later state your own opinion. So which is it? IMO

That wasn't her.. it was her sister 😁

Seriously, who says they are their sister to the FBI? LOL

I can understand making calls before talking to them, but don't lie about it when they ask!

I'd be calling a lawyer, whether I did something wrong or not.. but that is because I have followed too many cases on WS's LOL Never talk to the cops without a lawyer :P

It was

This is my speculation: JOK went into that house where he was beat up ,attacked by Chloe, and then fell onto a nike barbell with the swoosh symbol which caused the gash and "j" mark Alessi described during this trial. .The glass was dropped inside that house and broken during the fight. Only 1/2 of that glass was found with JOK because the other half was swept up and thrown away. Then JOK was carried out and placed on the lawn, close to the road, so it would look like a snow plow hit him. Snow plows cause several pedestrian fatalities each year in that state. Then, 1/2 of the glass was planted beside him to show that he was drunk when the plow hit him. The Alberts,Mccabes, and Higgins were all in on it and devising the plan. This explains all the so called buttdials between BA,BH, and JM. We also saw the video of BH talking on his phone when he went to Canton PD after he left 34 Fairview. So when KR early that morning told JM did I hit him on the phone, she called her sister to tell her what KR haf said and their fabricated story changed from the plow to KR hitting him. It wasn't a planned murder by that horrible crew, it was an unfortunate accident that was covered up. The end. MOO
And they might have timed how long to die in the snow in freezing temperatures with hardly any clothes and lack of blood. 2hours? 3?

How about watching he trial instead of the documentary, or at least in conjunction with it? I was responding to you asking all your questions about where the car was parked outside of 34 Fairview and how he might have exited the vehicle. The trial will educate you about where her car was positioned, at which times, and who saw the positioning.
I just watched a clip of the jury visit to the location and how they had KR’s car parked. Now I see it was during a three point turn to turn around that she is to have clipped him.

I’m still wondering how she got up enough speed in a short distance to break a tail light on a human arm or head, unless he dropped something and leaned down to pick it up while she was backing up and she hit his head.

Catching up

IMO

Actually, the defense showed that Jen McCabe deleted a string of calls from her call log between 12:14 a.m. and 12:50 a.m., seven back-to-back calls to John O’Keefe that she claimed were “butt dials.” Not one voicemail left. The defense’s expert highlighted that all those calls were manually deleted, which is not something that happens by accident.

The defense also showed that she searched “hos long to die in cold” at 2:27 a.m., before 911 was ever called, and attempted to delete that search. The CW claim that the WAL can transcribe backwards in time is completely implausible, IMO.

If you’re calling someone repeatedly (trying to find John’s phone IMO) and then frantically trying to erase that activity, plus Googling about how long it takes to die in cold, those are not the actions of someone who was just innocently trying to help.

The defense isn’t “targeting” her. They’re showing the jury exactly why her credibility is in question. It’s completely fair for the defense to challenge the credibility of a witness whose digital footprint shows signs of panic and cleanup before first responders were even called.

And if you believe everyone at Fairview, including Jen McCabe, all made ‘butt dials’ on that night… I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

All MOO

You've got that backwards. She says she saw him go towards the door of the house, and into the house, and then she asks could she have hit him, as in, did he return to her car without her seeing him and could she have nicked him without realizing it. She never said the second part before the first part. Or maybe that's how it's portrays on the documentary ...
I see you are saying she could have seen him walk to the door and still could be questioning if he returned to the car after arriving at the door.

Also during her 2x testifing before the Grand Jury she never said that KR said "I hit him".
AJ reminded her of that during her recent testimony.

Good argument by AJ for dismissal, Brennen begins with 'in the light most favorable to the CW', because he has not much else.

I have always wondered why, if a defendant is considered innocent until proven guilty, why the scales must be tipped to the prosecution with 'in the light most favorable' to them? Of course that puts weight on the defendant to prove they are not guilty, and that isn't supposed to be the standard, but in reality it most certainly is.

Brennan wasn’t even trying, of course he didn’t really need to. He didn’t even need to stand up.

Not sure where you are getting your information, but the 3 point turn is not when she was alleged to have hit him. That event took place on Cedarcrest, not Fairview.

I can only half listen this morning... but geesh, he could have put some effort into it... we all knew it would be denied, but at least pretend like you care and believe what you are saying. JMO

No kidding, a case study on just going through the motions...

Is Karen Reed using scrolling her phone during Brennen’s presentation? I wonder if the judge will address this.
