So Brennen wants to point out what DiSogra is not? He's not a lawyer or doctor, but then he doesn't pretend he is or give opinions on those subjects.

Saying don't be shy, so very respectful, not. Sounds like a comment from a desperate man. That is what they have. IMO

So you never slathered blue paint all over your arm and found a car to press up against?

No?

Then you're not much of an expert then, are you?

Just got out of a meeting, but this man on the stand is a HUGE departure from the whackadoodles put on by the CW, i.e. The Imposter and The Blue Man.

It makes as much sense as the rest of his testimony that he wasn't able to prove. JMOO
Respectfully, we will never agree on that.

Burgess never specified anything from the SD card in his notice to DiSogra. DiSogra said it became apparent that the focus was not on the chips in the notice he got from Shannon Burgess, but the SD card. DiSogra says generally if you write a protocol, you apply to that protocol, and it’s not customary to shift out of nowhere. But Burgess told him they were looking for one thing, and then retrieved another.

So true @ShadyLady ….. and it is also IMO noteworthy to recall that the two Aperture LLC ‘expert witness’ testifying had those “Not For Expert Designation” watermarks flashed across their downloadable CVs. Like this one for Dr. Welcher which is still available on their website links. SMH. MOO

Adding that Aperture began adding those watermarks the afternoon that Burgess first testified, then started adding them to other employees, including Welcher, but not ALL of their employees.
Curious timing, indeed.
IMO.

I would call an expert who lied about his own background shoddy but that's JMO.
The guy who doesn’t have the background he says he is an expert in- would not be an expert in the sense of having an education in the topic. He would have engaged in a lie- but could have done great work. Some people are experts due to experience in an area and not education.

If education is the deciding factor- Dr. Welcher would have the most expertise. He has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.

IMO

That's great. Someone has lost their life and someone else's life is on the line in a murder trial but the "expert witness" is on the stand apparently to provide humor.
I believe it was due to the witness's exasperation with Attorney Alessi not understanding the concept of science he was questioning the witness about. That is how I viewed it and it did not seemed disrespectfully in the least. AJMO

Brennan asks if Burgess demonstrated great proficiency. DiSogra is silent for a few seconds 😂

I'll be honest. I'm lost and have zero idea of what any of these people are talking about, but I will say that if I needed the expertise of Burgess/Welcher or Disogra, I would put my life in Disgora's hands without reservation. I would put my life in the hands of my 7 year old nephews hands over the Aperture team.

So DiSogra is basically saying no one in the crash reconstruction field used the Micro SD card to triangulate data before Burgess. So it’s not commonly accepted or peer reviewed science.

OMG this! I agree 1000%

But, lying would destroy his credibility IMOO

The problem is Not that he didn't have a degree it's that he lied about having it. If someone lies about that what else is he not being honest about?

It was a crass response and a direct reflection of his character IMO

Exactly and an expert who lied about this education makes him the opposite of being an expert IMO

As I understand it they are trying to align in time the events recorded by KR’s car and JO’s phone.
The phone stopped recording JO moving, does it align with certain movements of KR’s car?

What is happening is they are getting so bogged down in the weeds that few jury members will be able to stay awake and digest the entire time, must less understand.
How do I know this… I’ve taught science and math to adults for over 30 years. College students would be snoring audibly by this point

IMO

IMO with the ‘it could have gone to space’ comment, Alessi had been showing how many possibilities and unknowns Welcher had, and Welcher, in an attempt to be smug, handed him quite the smoking gun. He didn’t know much about the alleged ‘collision’ at all. MOO

If I were a juror and heard an expert say that, even as a joke of snidely, it still wouldn’t sit well with me.
