And instead of engaging with that, the takeaway is where he met with the defense team? Are you implying he committed perjury or conspired with the defense because of the location of a meeting? If not, why bring it up?

Barros literally testified to the same thing he testified to last trial when he was a witness for the P.

It may be difficult/seem odd for some to understand, who are not out and about in the business world traveling away from their home base. Hotel conference rooms, lobbies, etc are used by a lot of us when we are not on our home turf.

After all the horrible representation of LE in this case, Barros was a light in a dark place. Wow what a difference. I needed his testimony because I was feeling very negative about LE in this state.

I see Brennan try to make it something untoward. RIDICULOUS. The defense team IS staying at a hotel. Conference rooms are exactly for meetings of business meetings such as this.. NORMAL. Starbucks would be a bit noisy and not private for example. Officer Barros is what a decent and honest police officer is, for example all. IMO

So happy to see an honest member of LE -he answered questions from both sides as did Dr Russell.
So damn refreshing after all the shady others. It renews my hope and faith in humanity.
It was a god day for TRUTH. Just IMO

Barros is an example of the blue who deserves to be backed. His story didn’t change depending who he was testifying for, and he was respectful on both direct and cross. I sincerely hope there are more officers in the world like him, and less like Higgins, Albert, Devers, Berkowitz, Buhkenik, Proctor…

i could understand someone not remembering something and later correct their testimony if they happen to recall something they were unable to recollect earlier. It is very hard to believe someone who testifies to having seen something and then recants that testimony labeling it a "false memory". Did she dream it or have a vision.? It is so hard to give her testimony any credibility. Just imagine if everyone changed their stated testimony by simply labeling it a "false memory" It would be laughable if this situation was not so serious.

I haven't followed this case closely like the rest of you but I heard this testimony and it was pure word salad obfuscation. Whoever the witness is, she's not believable.

those photos and videos have been up for debate since at least last trial (I have no idea when they were released) Can you see a destroyed tail light? I guess so. Can I? Absolutely Not.

Do I believe an officer that has NO connection to the CPD family/friend group? Yep. What in the world would he have to gain by saying this?

IMO ‘shredded’ is a massive overstatement. He mistakenly thought he saw a still in trial 1 that he didn’t. It doesn’t change anything else.

He has absolutely nothing to gain (and apparently in MA, everything to lose) by testifying honestly that Karen’s tail light was not damaged to the extent seen in the Sallyport.

The alleged witnesses didn't even go to the police station, they were interviewed at the McCabe house. And the statements were not even recorded.

Also it was found that JMc listened in on Kerrie's, OF COURSE, that was brought up earlier in this trial 2. 'SHE'S TELLING HIM EVERYTHINGGGG'. Kerrie seemed pretty put out a bit by that. That's what happens when police procedure is not followed Kerrie and just have a buddy (proctor) come 'ovah the house' and have a chat. IMO

Like her or not, Karen Read has had her life turned upside down by crooked cops. She was a wealthy, successful single woman accomplishing everything and has now lost her home, jobs, 401k, etc., all because - why??? Brian Higgins, Brian Albert - you got some 'splaining to do!!
