JMO, but a hoodie and a fossil are very different things.
You are correct. John’s hoodie was wet. A perfect environment for microbial growth, chemical hydrolysis, and enzymatic activity. Furthermore, the drying in open air on butcher paper allows UV light exposure, possibly fluctuating temp/hymidity, and ongoing microbial activity. By the time the swabs were taken it is possible that the original cellular material was contaminated or degraded. It’s a textbook case on how NOT to handle biological evidence, IMO

Edit: changed ‘sweater’ to ‘hoodie’ for clarity

Karen states the the Karen Clip, in her own words, that she said it- she only took issue to how many times she said it.

IMO
That does not negate that NOBODY ever said a word to the grand Juries about how KR said she " I hit him."

I said at one point that I would like Dr. Marie Russell's brains.

I would accept yours as well.

NONE of them testified to the GRAND JURY that she said that. Not JMC, Kerrie, the EMT's or CPD members there. WHY> Didn't dare lie or get looked into there. WHY in these trials they do, very boldly. What makes them comfortable in able to lie, change their stories now? The court environment? IMO

Shucks, thank you! I’m just deep in the weeds on this case like everyone else. I learn so much from all the back-and-forth here, so it’s a team brain effort at this point!!

It’s from someone the CW had testify in T1 that they didn’t have testify in T2. My guess for why they didn’t have her testify is that Alessi could ask on cross ‘could you rule out that the pig DNA was from a dog treat?’ And she’d have to say no.

I am just so disappointed in judge Cannone. Over and over I think ‘my goodness, she must see what the right thing to do here is’. And over and over, she lets me down. MOO.
I think when the Judge has a brief recess to consider any motion - she calls Morrissey. Just my opinion.

They probably weren’t ASKED

is Brennen going to ask Dr. Russell about every aspect of his Direct for her opinion so he can just badger her on that too?

He is only trying to drain the power from a queen.

It is allowed and encouraged because it furthers the agenda of the system.

If it needs to be stated, the agenda is to maintain power and hide rot.

It can last in fossils under ideal conditions. It can also degrade in just weeks with elevated temperature, moisture, UV light, oxidative stress, microbial activity, pH and chemical exposure, autolysis, and lack of preservation measure.

We can find DNA in SOME fossils - not all - because it was preserved - kept cool, dry and away from light. If a biological sample is stored improperly, DNA can quickly degrade.

Dr Russell is 100% correct.
DNA on his hoodie didn’t erase the dog DNA and not the PIG DNA

IMO

No, paramedics Nuttall and McLaughlin did testify to that in the grand jury proceedings. It was in their testimonies on day 1 and 9 respectively
